I don't think I ever made a post with all of these paintings together. So here they are, all my final Language of Flowers paintings.

The culmination of many (many) long hours spent sketching, painting, looking up flowers/their meaning, and crying about painting lips.

The original inspiration for the Language of Flowers theme is from one of my favorite fics, Angel's Wild by @riseofthefallenone

Painted using Pentel water brush pens and Prismacolor watercolor pencils on 6inΓ—9in Bee Paper Company watercolor paper, at the recommendation of @winchester-reload . The gold is Handmade Modern brand 14k gold metallic paint, and the silver is Art-C brand metallic paint. Both paints shimmer in the light.

I was lucky enough to get them all signed; Misha, Jensen, and Jared at ChiCon 2019 & Alex, Rob, and Rich at BurCon 2019

I hope y'all love them as much as I doπŸ’™

btw when jensen says cas' confession does not need a 'resolution' he means that it's not a problem that needs addressing or processing on dean's part. i heard his answer as meaning that dean knows what cas' words meant. one might even think jensen didn't really agree with the "dean didn't know the nature of cas' feelings for him until cas literally said it" angle that berens chose, and his own interpretation is that dean was always (or at least, had been for a while lol) aware of the nature of his feelings for cas and cas' feelings for him, but their shitty lives always threw obstacles at their chances to just be, and the confession was more of a explicitation of something implicit rather than a proper "confession" of something unknown. (i do think jensen played dean that way at least, as not "suprised" by cas' words at all, just striken by the whole thing, which he knew was a goodbye from the start).

Dating ain't easy you know! Sometimes a good book can help.

I love how in character they both are here πŸ˜‚

And I OBVIOUSLY asked them for permission, showed the covers and asked if they're okay with the ops. And they were BOTH on board. And Jensen saw the book, laughed and was like "yeah, let's do it."

I had so much fun doing the covers so please enjoy πŸ˜‚
