Hi, I don't know if you remember Jones from the old drama there was years ago about her transphobic behavior. But she's back online and she's even on TikTok and Twitter pretending to be a Spaniard, which she's openly admitted to her mutuals on her regular accounts.

It’s been over a year since the last one I posted. Two of the main antagonists, and two Huastec gals! Most of my characters have regular body paint, but in the case of these Huastec girls, those are actual tattoos covering most of their bodies, as was common among Huastecs.

🔰Recibió una felicitación personal y su título profesional de manos del Gobernador David Monreal Ávila. 🔰Este joven de 27 años piensa regresar a la Sierra Norte de Jalisco para promover la organización social de su comunidad y pugnar hacia el progreso. Tlaltenango de Sánchez Román, Zac., 26 de marzo de 2023.- En medio de la algarabía que se vive en la graduación de los egresados del Tecnológico de Tlaltenango, hay una estampa que lo dice todo: una mujer wixárika besa a su esposo, también wixárika. La felicidad desborda en sus rostros, sus miradas los delatan. Y es que el joven Etsiékame, cuyo nombre wixárika significa "Sembrador", después de cinco años de sacrificios para pagar su carrera, se graduó como Ingeniero en Administración. Él es uno de los 130 jóvenes que recibieron su título como egresado del Instituto Tecnológico Superior Zacatecas Sur (ITSZS). A diferencia de sus compañeros que visten toga negra, él usa el traje más elegante: una camisa y un pantalón de manta, porta consigo un morral. Toda su vestimenta con finos bordados de símbolos de su cultura ancestral, la wixárika. Por su desempeño escolar, recibió de manos del Gobernador David Monreal Ávila su título profesional y además una felicitación personal. Etsiékame tiene 27 años y es originario de la comunidad San Sebastián Teponanahuaxtlan, ubicada en Mezquitic, en la Sierra Norte de Jalisco. Hace cinco años llegó a vivir a Tlaltenango. Por su espíritu de superación, decidió estudiar una carrera, aunque sabía que tenía en contra algo, la falta de recursos económicos. Siendo ya un esposo y padre de familia, emprendió la odisea de formarse como Ingeniero en Administración. "No fue fácil. Le batallé mucho. Tenía la beca de Jóvenes Escribiendo el Futuro, pero no ajustaba, por lo que saliendo de las clases me iba al mercado a tocar la guitarra y a cantar, para ver si me daban unas monedas", refiere mientras abraza con orgullo su título. Y llegando a su casa, dedicaba tiempo para estudiar y para su familia, pero también para hacer pulseras, aretes, llaveros y collares de chaquira, artesanías de la cultura wixárika que vendía para obtener dinero. Su esposa y su cuñada los acompañan en esta graduación de la generación 2018-2022. De la mano de la mujer que lo ha besado, Etsiékame se retira de este recinto en el que hay efervescencia de felicitaciones y abrazos. Él sabe que ya no es aquel joven que en el 2018 entró a estudiar al Tecnológico de Tlaltenango, ahora es un Ingeniero en Administración con un propósito: regresar a San Sebastián Teponanahuaxtlan para aplicar sus conocimientos en beneficio sus coterráneos. "Podemos organizarnos como comunidad y aspirar a una mejor vida, a mejores servicios públicos, a espacios para comerciar nuestros productos y reclamar un lugar para poder preservar nuestra cultura", comenta mientras mira con cariño y toca con la mano derecha el hikuri (peyote) que está bordado en su morral.
Biblioteca Palafoxiana is a library in the historic center of the city of Puebla in the Mexican state of Puebla. Founded in 1646, it is recognized by UNESCO as the first and oldest public library in America. It has more than 45,000 books and manuscripts from the 15th to the 20th century. In 2005, it was included in the UNESCO Memory of the World list.
A tlacuilo is an ancient painter-scribe. Tlacuiloqueh were in charge of preserving the wisdom of their ancestors. They took care of the register and transmission of their cultural heritage by teaching new generations of artists and by painting sacred objects such as pieces of regalia, ritual implements and books.
An illustration found in Codex Telleriano Remensis shows a woman in the role of a scribe, demonstrating it was not reserved to men. In my drawing, a cihuatlacuilo or woman scribe paints the sacred mask of Tepeyollotl, the Jaguar Lord, protector of wild animals and mountains.

Taxco Guerrero, México by Gerardo Mendoza
This painting is based on a contemporary indigenous sacred narrative, complemented by ancient sources such as codices Vaticanus B and Fejérváry-Mayer. According to this story, in the beginning of time Cipactli, the Earth Monster, had a tongue of flames with which She caused harm to all living creatures. Tlaloc, Our Lord the Rain, fought against Her with His axe, and took Her tongue. He divided it in four and gave the pieces to His sons, the Tlaloqueh, who have ever since used the fiery tongue of Cipactli as Their weapon. Every time there is a storm and the Tlaloqueh are busy creating rain, Cipactli tries to recover Her tongue, and so the Earth and the Heavens fight over lightning.
