"Ah!" He blinks in surprise as his freckled cheeks dust over with a light pink flush. Prompto lightly touches his fingers to his just-kissed nose with a small chuckle. "Well aren't you the sneaky one?" The blonde jokes with a shy smile "Guess I'll have to watch out!..." His voice fades to an embarrassed whisper as the flush in his cheeks deepens "But then.. "Aw you poor thing.." He pouts a little, sympathetically and strokes your head. "Being sick sucks~ Hmm but I have an idea!" He rummages through a first aid kid and pulls out a medical mask, slipping the loops over his ears. His eyes interpreting the smile on his face beneath the mask "If it will help you not worry too much I can wear this~ Even if I still catch it though, that's fine by me... It's worth it because I gotta make you feel better!" Prompto sweeps you into a tight hug and falls back on the bed with you, holding you close "Mm.. Nice and comfy~ Now try and get some rest so you can feel better soon!"

Morana spots Prompto in camp she sees he siting down looking at his camera. Standing before him the Failed MT stares, sea foam green eyes curiously glaring. "What makes you so perfect? What makes you so happy? I don't understand you are similar to me but you are a success. I'm a failure..." She growls the last sentence staring at him still not threatening or anything.
He peers up at the glinting eyes that study him in confusion. This confusion turns to concern as the woman’s words ring in his ears. Brow furrowing he responds with a sympathetic smile “I… I don’t think I’m really all that perfect, Morana. As for what makes me happy.. I guess its my friends… I’m not always so cheerful as I seem. Things get me down too sometimes… but I just keep trying my best to keep on keepin’ on the only way I know how~” His deep cobalt eyes wander as he processes through his thoughts, but as his eyes travel back to Morana, he has a feeling that wasn’t exactly what she meant by that question. To be truthful, he had an inkling what she intended before he had skirted the answer… but.. He felt for her. As unnerving as she could be at times, he knew she must be facing some deep internal struggles. He wanted to believe that deep inside she was more vulnerable and innocent than she let on. Prompto was earnest when he concluded his response with “I don’t think you’re a failure though… just a little different~ But different doesn’t necessarily mean bad..”

“Ah~ Oh no, you poor thing!” He races to you and wraps you up in a tight hug, peppering tiny kisses all long the top of your head “I’m sorry today was so awful~ That really bites..” He pulls back just far enough to gaze into your face with a soft, comforting smile “But you got through it! And… tomorrow’s a new day~ I hope it will be way better than today!” With a soft chuckle and an earnest grin, Prompto continues “And I’ll be right here to hug it all better or celebrate the good days.. come what may!”

(Get Me starter) Lewis woke up under the shade of a tree, and the hot Eos sun beating down on him. As ran a hand through his mess of blonde hair and his eyes slowly began to adjust to his surroundings, the sound of a snarl cut through the air. Whirling, he met eyes with a sabertusk pack about ten feet away. Gasping, he scrambled backwards, only to hit the trunk of the tree. As his heart pounded in his chest, he let out a scream.

Whirling, he met eyes with a sabertusk pack about ten feet away. Gasping, he scrambled backwards, only to hit the trunk of the tree. As his heart pounded in his chest, he let out a scream.
Ruby had been doing a light supply run for the guys aboard her chocobo, Akai.
As she continued down the road her aura flared detecting visitors nearby causing her to grab the reigns tightly easing her companion to a halt. “Easy Akai, that’s a good girl..”
Looking around, her green eyes zoned in on some movement nearby, some sabertusks going after something. She hopped off of her chocobo, summoning her bow as she did, firing a shot to take out the closest creature killing it instantly.
As she continued her approach, Ruby’s eyes widened as she spotted what looked like a person in the center of the crazed beasts, calling out as she fired off another shot “you alive over there?!”
Lewis, focusing solely on these creatures that seemed to have come right out of a nightmare, took a few seconds to process that someone had actually hear him.
“If by alive you mean not dead, I don’t know!” he replied. “What are these things?!”
Seeming to get angrier by his shouts, a nearby sabertusk leapt and clamped down on Lewis’s left forearm. Immediately a screech of pain erupted from Lewis, and he frantically began kicking at the beast.

Hearing the answering shout sent Ruby’s brow into her hairline as she fired another shot sending one of the last of the sabertusks to the astrals.
“Well, that’s something I guess. Hold tight and il get you out of this.”
Dropping her bow to dissolve into a flash of sparkles, Ruby summoned her katana and dispatched the last of the sabretusks. Allowing her weapon to fall to the wayside, dissolving as well she knelt down beside the wounded stranger.
Her aura gathered around her as she saw the deep bite on his arm, she was both ready to heal as needed and defend herself should the stranger prove hostile. Her voice was soft as she spoke to them in a gentle even tone, “That’s a nasty bite, my names Ruby and I’d you’ll let me I can help you with that.”
There was no hostility in his face, but his bright blue eyes were darting everywhere. Terror and fear were overwhelming and his body was shaking. “My name is Lewis,” he said through deep breaths. “Where am I? Have you seen a girl around here?”
His body was thin, and he didn’t have a lot of muscle, either. Simple clothes, and a small black cord hung around his neck, though what this was couldn’t be determined. All in all, Lewis looked completely out of place.

Ruby sighed softly seeing the fear in the young mans eyes she reached out slowly and gently to his uninjured arm. “Hi Lewis, nice to meet you. I’m sorry I haven’t seen a girl around here and your a few miles from old Lestallum.”
Looking over his clothes he looked a bit out of place and she was reminded of the day she arrived. Looking straight into his eyes and speaking slowing hoping she wouldn’t startle him with her next statement “hey, I’d like to heal your arm..can I take a look at it please?”
He blinked. Lestallum? Where the heck was that? No place he had ever heard of, that was for sure.
“Heal my arm? Uh… okay, I guess.” He honestly didn’t think she meant literal healing. Not yet at least. Lewis sighed in disappointment, glancing down. Annabelle would know so much more… she had to.
“I have to find Annabelle… she may be in trouble,” Lewis said quickly. “The last thing I remember, we were kidnapped. I’m not entirely sure how I ended up here, but I have to find her!” Immediately he was looking back up at Ruby. “Can you help? Like… do you have a car or friends in high places or anything like that?”

Ruby sighed, wincing at the waves of emotions coming from the confused young man. With his permission granted she reaches out gently touching the area surrounding the wound, her aura going forth in delicate tendrils quickly healing the flesh, leaving the area pink but unharmed. “There you go, now that you’re healed we should get you out of here. Have you ridden a chocobo before? I’ve got one that can carry us both easily and she’s very friendly.” At his question about his friend her brow furrowed in concern, reaching into her pocket she pulls out her phone to text her love, letting him know she was bringing in a stray. {text}“Prom, hey…found a stray, he was being attacked and I got him healed up and I’m ok. I’ll be meeting you and the guys here in a bit, love you” Turning her attention back to the scared and confused young man “I’m sorry but I haven’t seen you’re friend but you’re safe now. Let’s meet up with my friends and we will see what we can do to find them for you.” @promptothesunshineboy
His eyes widened as she finished working on his arm, and he gasped seeing that the blood was gone and there was no more pain.
At the question, Lewis just gave her a blank stare. “A choco-what now? Uh… At the risk of sounding a little crazy, I have no idea what that means. Lestallum means nothing to me, and don’t even get me started on how my arm is miraculously healed just by you touching it. Is this… still Earth?” he asked, not getting his hopes up. “I’m gonna go ahead and say no.”
Prompto had been carefully selecting ammo for his prized revolver at the nearby weapons-dealer. He loped along at an easy pace now, astride his chocobo while he whistled none other than the chocobo theme cheerily to himself. His phone went off and he fished it out, reading the text from Ruby. Eyebrows raised with interest he tapped out a reply [Text: Hey, Red. I’m close by, actually. I’ll be there in a jiff! Love you xo ] He directed this bird to where Ruby had apparently found this “stray”. He hadn’t been riding for long when, suddenly, a flash of crimson caught his eye. Fiery red hair dancing in the wind, Ruby was a few yards off tending to someone he’d never seen before. He cocked his head slightly before dismounting the large bird and giving it a reassuring pat. He strode over to where the two others were. “Hey, Red~ What’s up?” He called out to her as he closed the distance. “Who’s your buddy, there?” As he reached Ruby’s side, he took in the sight of the young man before him. Clothes were a little odd.. But he seemed a perfectly nice boy, if not a bit shaken up at the moment. And maybe a bit confused? He smiles a grin filled with sunshine at the other young man, hoping to put him at ease and make a good impression “Hey there! My name’s Prompto. Good to meet ya! I see you’ve already met the lovely Miss Ruby~”
