It turns out that May 13th is webcomic day! So here's my bi-annual reminder to anyone who might not know yet that I'm working on a webcomic adaptation of the Fall Out Boy music video series, The Youngblood Chronicles! The project has been ongoing for over three years now, with over 300 pages and 9 issues (counting the one currently in progress).
Please be advised that the comic's main page contains a list of content warnings for the work itself, with this blog listing them out in considerably more detail here.
That being said, this comic may be for you if you have an interest in the following:
- Fall Out Boy and Fall Out Boy-related endeavors
- Sopping wet pathetic little guys running around getting traumatized and covered in blood (most commonly their own)
- Stories about trying to escape your past and to what extent you can run from the things haunting you
- Stories with an ensemble cast and an emphasis on changing character dynamics
- Stories that discuss deception, betrayal, conflict, and, most of all...saving rock and roll
If any of these things intrigue you, please take a look! Or take a look at any of the other comics in the #webcomicday tag, because there are an awful lot of good ones!
