Honestly, I wonder what would go through Zero's head watching someone lick a thing containing his DNA strands and then just die

Personally I'd probably just kinda stand there thinking "Am I THAT toxic???"

It’s ok, X is immune. He might find kissing Zero kinda spicy.

regardless. the majority of my gallery is dedicated to gay robots art and stories. I do not pose a danger to non shipping folk (or hetero shipping folk, since i multi ship with every pairing possible regardless of gender…i am bisexual). i’m not capcom. whatever i do don’t affect the canon. i am not interested to a fight not even to defend my stance. I assumed that by interacting with my post, i thought you’d also enjoy this stance. if i have been wrong to make a gay joke, i apologize.

you shouldn't have to apologize just because some people out there are homophobic and sore about everything. thankfully it seems like the individual in the thread is fine and doesn't care but even for the people who do it's their problem if they don't like it.

I'm glad to know i was over-cautious. It's better to be more careful than necessary than to be too careless in this day and age. I rather try to stop drama from happening before it starts. Good thing it wasn't even one. thanks tho.

i was listening to a video analyzing x's character yesterday and it was good but i was kinda confused at op being baffled that in x5 x refers to zero as "his only friend"

he goes "yeah fuck alia fuck douglas fuck signas right?!" but man that his best friend from the start of the series and those are like... his coworkers (introduced in that game no less)

also he's just got betrayed the game before and constantly finds himself having to kill his fellow hunters because they gone maverick. not so hard to see why he doesn't call many people his "friends" you know

Oh That's a very good point, the games don't state if they have known them from before and I may be wrong about this but I think at least according to the Legacy Collection, X5 happens a few months after the great reinforce war ended, so the betrayal of Double is still a little fresh 😅

and unlike in the mangas, X isn't able to save or befriend the bosses.

I think I'd also like to point out, X may have been panicking during that cutscene, like the Space colony is crashing and Zero; the only person who has ever understood him the most, his best friend and partner, soulmate even, may be lost forever and that's all he can think about even at a moment like that.

it takes Signas to convince him to evacuate and find refuge before the impact.

Zero is the only one friend that he had from the beginning of his life left. Everyone else either died or betrayed him AND died. He was not ready to form new bonds. He will be forced to, however, when Zero was out of the picture once again.
