Just because Ed and Oswald are not kissing doesn’t mean you need to stop everything! It is not like every ship you’ve ever dreamed of have come true!

Don’t worry you’ll always have a safe place here where you can read fanfics and see fan arts (which are going to be inspired from the Tv show itself) so just don’t… don’t get this show canceled.

Helping Gotham to Season 5

Gotham’s time for renewal announcements is due sometime in May. There have been mixed reportings of whether Gotham will get a fifth season or not from the cast and crew, so no definite conclusion can be drawn from those sources.

It may all come down to ratings/fan reaction for the final episodes of this season. Here is what you can do to help:

You can make your voice heard, using Twitter. Twitter is often used to track interest in a show, especially while said show is airing. It’s the best platform for getting the message across as it’s the easiest to track for television shows by use of hashtags.

Please consider including @-ing the following accounts when you tweet, and possibly using these hashtags:

  • #GothamSeason5 or #RenewGotham
  • Fox (@foxtv)
  • DC Comics (@DCComics)
  • Warner Brothers Television (@warnerbrostv)
  • Main Gotham Twitter (@Gotham)

Places to watch Gotham that will count towards showing continued fan interest in the show/the hope for a Season 5 of Gotham (U.S. only):

If you do not live in the U.S., you can still tweet at any of the accounts and use the hashtags to express your enjoyment of the show.

Your message in your tweets: Be positive, be focused, be succinct and mention how much you are enjoying what Fox and Gotham are providing for you. Mention characters, plot lines, specifics show that you are earnestly watching and enjoying. Unpopular opinion: Lee doesn't use Ed. She uses the Riddler. She know Ed is gone or buried deep down and probably wouldn't manipulate him like that. She manipulates Riddler, who isn't her friend. Riddler know she's using him, but get it as exchange for her. She probably went either "I will somoehow get Ed to charge and be my companion again or use Riddler.". It's cleary profit bussines. Not relationship, just exchange of her for what she wants from him and both of them know it.

I hope to GOD its this you have no idea.

I’m only going to say this once.

It’s not just about Nygmobblepot.

It’s not just about the obvious manipulation between ed and Lee are that there aren’t actually any feelings there and this is just for the male gaze.

It’s not just about the misogyny towards Lee.

It’s not just about the blatant homophobia about letting any male and female kiss within a 5 mile radius while the two males meant for each other never even get one.

It’s not just about utter disrespect to its LGBT fans.

It’s not just about the fact Oswald will now have to bite his tongue and watch the love of his life ONCE AGAIN be in a relationship with someone else.

It’s all these things together. We have so many reasons to be mad.

I’m all for being positive about this, like hopefully it will end, and Nygmob will get some scenes, but I’m not yet. I think we all have the right to express our deep anger about this right now.
