Okay, a few days late but here’s the masterpost link for the IRB fics written for the Satyr!Eames drawing I did!
Okay, so this was the art I did for the i-reversebang over at livejournal. (I’ll link you all the fic masterpost on or after the 13th when it’s posted.)
I had absolutely NO IDEA what to do for it, but this was one of the ideas I managed to come up with and I liked it enough to use it. It took FOREVER to finish, and there are some things I wish I’d tweaked, but overall I’m glad it got used, and there are some great little fics written for it, so I’m happy.
It’s Satyr!Eames listening in on a bathing Arthur singing in a forest pond. Been wanting to post it since I finished it, but I held off until the fic-posting time, so here it is!

So sorry, loves!Yehhh, I’ve been kinda slacking around here, I know, ha.. I really do apologize, though!! It’s been a mixture of laziness, being drained, and being busy!In late July, I had surgery, so that took my focus for a bit. Not too big a deal (at least, not to me, ha!), it honestly really isn’t! Just a bit of an inconvenience.Another thing is, school is about to start at the end of this month, and I’ve got to head back to my university soon. BLGERGHHG. :T I’ve had to get things sorted and prepared for that.Aaand then there’s been some commissions I’ve had to finish. Lame, blegh.And some job and family and friend-related things.And the biggest and most offending factors of all... I got wore out and lazy! IIIII... over-did it. I burned myself out. After my huge depression and not having drawn much of anything at all in months, I got a little frenzied and drew CONSTANTLY. Sometimes Two or three times a day, sometimes even more. And I was doing a lot of requests, and then trying to do all the stuff for Inceptiversary Month as well as my own projects, and things for commissions, and whatever else, and then that got paired with everything else going on in the rest of my life, and.. yeh, I completely bit off way more than I could chew and just over-did it. And then I just got exhausted and lazy and now I’ve been taking a bit of a breather with a few scribbles here and there in-between.
So, no worries! I’m here, I am! Just.. not quite “active” lately! But I will be, I promise! I just need to NOT do that again, ha! At least, not so much! But no, yeh, I’ll definitely get back into the swing of things again soon enough and bring you all more Inception and Tom and Joe art, I promise! :>
TL;DR - Been busy with personal/work stuff, but mostly I got dumb and burned myself out!

This was one of the very first Inception fanart pieces I ever saw when I got into the fandom in April, and for a while thought it was a cool little photo. Then I actually clicked on the pic, looked at it a second longer, and felt my brain explode when I realized it was a damn painting. Love at first brain-explosion. So, I recommend domlerrys ridiculously beautiful art that I’m always so jealous of. (speaking of which, go look at those wonderful book covers she did, I can never get enough of those!)
Also! I gotta say- I love you guys, you’re all so talented in so many different ways. Art, writing, crafting, poetry, photography, and so much more! It really is so cool! :D

Day 19:
Who would you incept, and with what idea?
Well, as much as I absolutely adore the movie and think the whole idea of dream-sharing and inception is super-fascinating.. I don’t think I’d want to incept anyone! It’d feel.. too invasive? Like, I’d go in there and maybe end up seeing things I wasn’t supposed to see, find out things no one was ever supposed to know, at least, not without a decision from the owner of that mind. It’s too much of an invasion of privacy, I think. I know I wouldn’t want to be incepted, and I can’t imagine most other people would either! But, for the sake of answering the question, if I was going to put an idea in someone’s head it would be one for some of my friends or certain family members; as lame as it sounds, I’d like to have them “realize” and finally believe how much they are loved and how truly wonderful and important they are. Yes, definitely hokey and sappy, I know, I know, sorry. Pfh!
Day 18:
What was the best dream you ever had?
Well, I’m not sure this is the best one I ever had, but it’s my favorite from recent memory! The original drawing was gonna be the Eames I remembered from that dream, where he was shirtless and grinning and wearing aviators, holding a pistol while riding a waverunner in the Florida Everglades. Well, the drawing just wouldn’t come out right, so I did this one instead (I’ll try again with the original drawing later). Both Eames and Arthur on the waverunner, blasting through the Everglades and its unfortunate wildlife. (yes, Eames just mowed down an alligator, and no, Arthur is not happy about it )
Here, have a dorky babbu Leo while I run off to go do chores n’ stuff.

Day 16:
Take a picture/draw/sing/whatever Inception related.
Creative, right? :/ Well, I just absolutely love the idea of totems, so I thought I’d draw them for today’s challenge. I also decided to make up some totems for both Saito and Yusuf, too. I kept with what I thought was a game theme, so I gave Saito a white Go board stone, and Yusuf a catseye mancala board stone.
(and I forgot to do Day 15 , ARGHGHGHSDgdslgjdjjg... and it was an Eames day!! Tweed, you doof. But yeh, the movie I was gonna pick for Eames was “The French Connection” because intense international crime, kick-ass action scenes and car chases, cool characters.. So yeh. )
