Sansa couldn’t begin to explain how much it meant that her friend swore by the old gods as well, her family’s gods. It was a small gesture, but it meant the world to the girl who had been trapped in Kings Landing for so long, far away from the North and her gods.
“Thank you,” she said, a hint of a smile on her lips. Then she glanced at the bag. She realized of course what it had to be.
“He made me look at father’s head,” she said, her voice taking a cold tone, “he said he would get my brother’s head too and make me look at it.” She took a deep breath, “I want to see it, not now I mean, we probably ought to leave. But I want to see it with my own eyes.” She turned to face the door and as she did so her eyes passed her sleeping husband again and she sighed.
“I have no love for Lord Tyrion,” she said, “but we need to take him with us,” she knew the queen hated the imp, and would jump at the chance to blame him, “they will accuse him of helping us murder the king.” And she would not leave her husband to that faith.

Margaery was quiet as she turned, but Sansa’s suggestion answered everything she needed to know. Had he treated her well as a husband? If Sansa wanted to bring him with them, to spare him accusations...

And in her brief time at the Landing, she knew Tyrion was different then the rest of his family. Kinder. Perhaps because of all he had been through. So she nodded, and crossed the floor, leaving the red satin bag. Pausing as she glanced to Sansa.

“-Later. You might present it to your brother. When we get there.” A soft smile to Sansa over her shoulder. And then she knelt to shake Tyrion Lannister awake.

“Lord Tyrion. You need to wake up now. Your wife has spoken on your behalf, You might be blamed for our crimes. My crime. So I hearby invite you to join us and flee to the North away from your sister’s reach.”

Guys but @tasspace Has put it in words I was wandering following people from @bisexualbronn And I noticed her update:

“I’ve pretty much always had the same MO- play a character or two really intensely for a few months, get bored or frustrated and move to a new character. I never disliked this- I ended up rping with a lot of the same people, made new friends, and played a character for like 6-24 months or so, long enough to get some really good relationships and plots and threads. “

One she has a lot longer term focus then me, so wow am impressed. But thats it. Muses appear to me like a shiny new toy. I play with them. I look at others. I go Hey Lets Play together. And then one day its less shiny. I still love it, but maybe I’m not into it as much. And one day, yes, I will dust them off. But then there will be times not so much?

So I’m going to go look into some themes and shit to maybe gather my way too many Westeros Muses into one place. Leo, Bronn, Antonio (A NEW CHALLENGER APPROACHES), Elsa, and Margaery of Course. Will keep you updated!

A Love Letter to the Game of Thrones Role Play Community

So I’ve been talking and plotting with one my oldest, dearest friends lately. She’s not on tumblr, and we chat through text or google-we met on Neopets to give some context. Twelve years, I think.

And we share a love of Game of Thrones, and we’ve sliding in assorted original characters of our own. And yes, I give you, those OC’s can have impact, and if we wanted to they could unravel the canon from the beginning to recreate a new pretty picture.

Now, I know there’s some stigma about True Born OC’s of the Stark and Baratheon variety. I didn’t quite see any problem with them anymore. Until apparently you put them in one place, and have a partner who’s refusing to honor earlier canon developments.

She’s not a bad writer, she just isn’t seeing how this could impact, well, virtually everything that follows.

[The event is the fate of Lady, the Dire Wolf.]

Its basically the butterfly effect. Kill a butterfly early enough, it won’t pollenate, and the particular strangler plant used to poison Joffrey won’t be available. I’m not against saving her-but not at the sacrifice of say, Sansa’s character development.

Original Characters are guests in the homes of Canon Characters. Now, I don’t say they’re any less. I of all people know OC’s have a hell of a bad rap. But the problem isn’t the OC’s themselves here, but the writer not seeing how certain actions can be small but have huge impact.

It seems like she and I are at an impasse. And I realize that’s how we’ve never proceeded past a certain point before.

And I find myself...not blaming her. Its...

Role Playing is a Major. Game of Thrones is a Minor. Or a Second Major.

Everyone here? Minors/Majors in Writing Game of Thrones Role Play. So not only do we understand every twist in fate has a cause and effect, we’ve probably written Meta about it.

So yeah. I love you guys. For understanding. For being open to new ideas. For offering new ideas. Just all of it.

Oh and for generally welcoming me. I know this RP fandom PR community has had its ups and downs. But ever since I developed a Sir Bronn of the Blackwater like, god, three years ago, this has been my favorite place to write.

Of all the RP Fandoms. This will be the one I call home. And return to.

Me: Yeah I’m fine with my muse list. Probably too many tbh. But that’s enough for me. No more.

First GoT Muse Ever: [Says something witty that gives me new head canons]

Me: Well fuck you mate

Just a general reminder the Night’s Watch is incredibly noble and important and if it weren’t for them there’d be Wildlings descended into the Kingdoms causing thing to go completely amok. I appreciate the men who’ve sworn to take the black.
and here we have Jon Snow, the 998th Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch,
the guard who opened the gates and let the foe march through.

Yes but the foe didn’t run amok did it? Jon Snow found a way to minimize the death and blood shed and battles. Jon Snow, wisest of all the Lord Commanders. Jon Snow, who will also probably be the 999th Commander.

“The irony is even during my little act at the end, I never believed in gods or magic. Its why I wanted so badly to help people. Because I believed this was in. This was the end of the line.”

“Then my mother preformed dark magics that brought me back from the beyond, and I’m carry a bloody legendary flaming sword on my back, searching for some prophesied hero to deliver it to.”
