OK- I wasn’t going to say anything. But…I quit drinking coffee 3 weeks ago! I had been struggling to sleep. My anxiety was super high, even after the holidays were over… And I noticed that the lack of sleep made it even worse 😔 It took two weeks of headaches, crankiness, and honestly, a bit of grieving for my morning routine…but I’m finally falling asleep within an hour of laying down in bed. Being a super productive, coffee-addicted person was a big part of my identity. I realized it was more important for me to start this year slowly, and focus on my mental health, than it was to start the new year at full speed 🚀 This is surprisingly hard for me to admit. But sometimes I feel shame for not doing all the things that I think I’m “supposed” to be doing.
