Like much of the school, you were one of Teru’s many fans. You liked to occasionally glance at him from afar but you usually just stuck with your friends and hung out with them.

At one point you started noticing something strange, you started seeing Teru more often. He would appear more often at places you frequented with your friends. It even seemed like he would occasionally sneak you glances. You just blamed it on your fan brain and that you were just imagining it. Well, you were pretty convinced that you were just imagining it until...

“(L/n)-san, would you possibly like to join me for some icecream? There’s a nice park around here that we could check out too.” Teru had asked you at the end of the school day, seemingly nervous and with a slight blush on his cheeks.

You were frozen in place trying to process what you just heard him say before he spoke your name again, snapping you out of your trance.

“I’d love to, Minamoto-kun!” There was no way in hell you were gonna pass up an opertunity like this.

You had joined him in some small talk while you went to go get your ice cream. He asked lots of little questions about yourself, and you asked some back. Conversation was smooth with him and it flowed easily between you two as you walked around the park.

“Hey, (l/n)-san, theres a really pretty place in this park, would you like to come see it with me real quick?” He suddenly asked you, refusing to meet your eyes.

“Sure! It must really be beautiful since this park is so nice.”

Teru lead you off the path slightly and lead you to a bridge that crossed over a small river, and it turns out you were right. It was absolutely breathtaking. The sun had just barely started to go down so a pink hue reflected off the water and gave everything a magical aura.

“(L/n)-san, I, uhm, I have something I need to tell you.” Teru said as you two walked to the middle of the bridge. You looked over at him with a puzzled expression, waiting for him to continue.

“Well, uh, I just wanted to tell you that...that I really like you and I notice that you always see me but you never talk to me so I just wanted to start to get to know you...” He rambled slightly as you stared at him with wide eyes. Teru Minamoto likes you??

“Minamoto,” You grabbed him lightly by the chin and make him look back at you, the blush on his face growing. “I like you too, and I just thought that me seeing you more often was just a coincidence. I think I’d like getting to know you more a whole lot.” You smiled up at him which didn’t help how flustered he was getting.

“Ah, well, I’m really glad.” He looked away from you again, his hand reaching up to scratch at his neck.

“Come on, pretty boy, we should head home soon.” You giggled when he flushed more at your name for him.

“Yeah...” He said in a slight daze with a dorky smile on his face.

The walk home was mostly silence, but it wasn’t awkward, it was pretty comfortable. Once you two arrived home, you said your goodbyes and before he turned to leave, you left a peck on his cheek.

He stood there, wide eyed like a baby deer for a moment before smiling and returning the action. He smiled and waved you goodbye as he walked home.

Tomorrow should be really fun for you both.
