Some Kyoshi Warrior: look, I'm not against being the Fire Lord's bodyguard but he better not try anything with any of the girls

Ty Lee, who's known Zuko since he was a kid and seen him react to girls with a mix of yelling and extreme disinterest: hm. okay. don't think that'll be a problem

Some other Kyoshi Warrior: okay sure Ty Lee trusts him, she's known him for years. What do you think Suki?

Suki: [remembers the time at the Western Air Temple that Haru practised earthbending in a sleeveless shirt and Zuko said that he was watching so intently because he's "interested in the martial art" even though he never so much as glanced at Aang and Toph training]

Suki: [remembers when Sokka and Zuko came to rescue her from the Boiling Rock and holy hell she only had a hunch that Sokka was bi before but sheer proximity to Zuko kinda just dragged it right out of him]

Suki: [remembers when she asked Zuko about Combustion Man and he described how jacked he was for several minutes before getting around to mentioning the guy's third fucking eye that makes things explode]

Suki: [remembers the time right after the prison break that she and Zuko were talking and Zuko referred to Sokka as "our boyfriend" WEEKS before he and Sokka got together and neither Zuko nor Sokka even noticed so Suki just looked at Sokka's dad like he was the camera on the Office]

Suki: [remembers the time Zuko dramatically accused a theatre troupe of "butchering Love Amongst The Dragons every year" and while she'd smack anyone who makes assumptions about a person's sexuality based on stereotypes look. look she's bi and she and Zuko are BFFs with a shared boyfriend if anyone can bully him a bit it's her]

Suki: I think we'll be fine somehow
