Because I am a writer of various fandoms and dozens of stories now, I'm going to put them under a cut to save space.

**NOTE THAT SOME STORIES ARE 18+**

Many of my stories, and just my blog in general, are meant for mature audiences. I am a full grown adult writing some mature themes at times. Viewer discretion advised. I do my best to tag common triggers, but I'm also bad at it. So, yeah. Read at your own risk. If it seems sketchy, please back out. I don't want you traumatized because my brain felt spicy when writing.

My 11-year-old couldn't decide what flavor of ramen to make, so I told her to flip a coin. Heads for spicy chicken, tails for beef.

Taking my advice, she flipped a penny, and when it landed on tails she said "Wait! Wait! I did it wrong!"

I told her that she did it right, because the real reason for flipping a coin isn't to let fate decide for you, but because when the coin is in the air, you will suddenly realize what you wanted in the first place.

I'm sure there's a life lesson there somewhere…

But honestly, I have never known her to pass up spicy chicken.

Update: Yesterday, her brother asked her if she wanted a corn dog and she couldn't decide, so again I told her to flip a coin. She did so, and without even looking which way it landed, she snatched the penny up and said "I want a corn dog".

My sister did this to me. I was dithering between sandwiches and she said “the club sandwich” and I went “no! The French dip!” and this advice also works on almost everything else. It’s scary.

I think it’s incredibly fucked how capitalism discourages learning for learning’s sake. People will have interests they’ve spent years researching then say it’s “useless knowledge” bc it didn’t go towards a college degree and isn’t part of their job. Learning is never useless! Your brain is growing and developing throughout your whole life! People would never have epiphanies or sudden lightening strikes of creativity if they weren’t learning new things! That goes double for topics like science, politics, and history, which inform your understanding of the world you live in!

I know how it is universally agreed in the fandom that Ghoulcy ship follows Beauty and the Beast trope, but I can't stop thinking of THIS.😁

A young woman, brave, kind and about to mary her perfect prince, discovers a whole new world (which she finds terrible and chaotic) and meets this divorced grumpy man (who has a little daughter, by the way) who helps her navigate these new surroundings. Well, the rest is history.
