I haven’t personally run into this in many many years but I saw a post that touched on it today, so PSA: Don’t ever, not ever, ever ever tell someone “we need to talk” or any variation thereof without also telling them exactly what the talk is about right away. Do not ever leave it a mystery, no matter what it is, for any reason. Because maybe you think leaving an unexplained “YOU AND I MUST DISCUSS SOMETHING LATER” is a normal adult thing, but to other people, it’s a phrase they associate with break-ups, firings, family deaths, terminal disease, finding out their house burned down while they’re at work, every fucking nightmare you can imagine. Even if someone has no traumatic experience associated with the phrase it can still be pure agony to not know what the hell this mystery-talk is going to be about. They’ll have no idea how bad of a thing it is and that can grind all of their plans to a complete halt. To be honest, I thought this was all so obvious, I figured people only did it to deliberately be mean or disrespectful, but I saw a lot of people saying they never thought of this at all. I find that baffling but if you really somehow didn’t realize how harrowing or at least very annoying this is to most people, you hopefully do now. CONTEXT UP FRONT AND FIRST THING, ALWAYS, NO MATTER WHAT, OR YOU ARE A JACKASS.

Damn, this is the Chloe Bourgeois that I love. The badass who will not take orders from anybody and who trusts Ladybug above all else. The one who refuses to backslide from being a hero.

I love this moment for Chloe and I hate that this isn’t the character we’ll get to see in future episodes. 😠
