Anti-Shinobi System

@antishinobisystem / antishinobisystem.tumblr.com

An Anti-Naruto and pro-Akatsuki blog. Anti Konoha and Shinobi System in general. Anti Masashi Kishimoto's bad writing. Pro Akatsuki, Madara and Uchihas. The only ships I like in Naruto are SasuKarin, HidaKonan and MadaTobi, but I rant mostly about themes

Am I the only one who found the Kakuzu and Hidan arc bullshit? Like, Kakuzu was able to fight Hashirama Senju and make it out alive. He is far older from that part so its obvious he is stronger. Hidan was a master when it came to his weapon, how the fuck was Kakashi able to hold his own against him with a fucking kunai?! Like, Hidan and Kakuzu should've stomped those bitches. It's just my opinion, yours?

I definitely agree, Kakuzu and Hidan easily could’ve and honestly morally and narratively SHOULD’VE won. The only reason they didn’t is because Kishimoto enjoys his pro-fascism propaganda too much to let the “villains” (who really are the heroes in the story) win. There is a thousands reasons for why it doesn’t work. I mean the blood thing is weird, since Kakuzu doesn’t have blood and has superstrength so he shouldve destroyed Kakashi’s bones with that kick, Hidan is impulsive but not stupid, and Kakuzu has decades of experience, superstrenght, mastery of all elements, and 5 hearts. No way they would’ve won against him alone, so him and Hidan? Bullshit

You said madatobi is a big ship of yours, but tobirama is notorious for being bigoted, especially against uchiha, and for propagating the shinobi system. How do you reconcile that?

Frankly, I said that years ago, I think I was still 15-16 then? But I’m 20 years old now and I do realize Tobirama’s bigotry cannot and should not be excused, so I no longer ship MadaTobi :)

they didn’t dare give Sasuke an ugly ass haircut like Naruto’s in Boruto because they were afraid that Madara’s ghost would haunt them forever if they had disrespected the Uchiha clan in such way

Itachi’s fanbase is about 98% of why I don’t feel more ambivalent about his character. Fictional characters who do terrible things can be incredibly interesting - they give the viewer a look at other points of view, at moral complexity, at different mindsets that might not otherwise be encountered. But -

But at some point, every Itachi stan I’ve ever spoken with - including my brother, so please, don’t take this as an attack, because it’s just a differing point of view and I accept that - tends to use the phrase “But he was just following orders”.

It’s the Nuremberg Defense. It’s the Nuremberg Defense, which is so named because it was a defense of Nazi soldiers at the Nuremberg Trials who were party to genocide. And - Itachi’s actions? The Uchiha Massacre? That counts as genocide, too.

The fact that a person acted pursuant to order of his Government or of a superior does not relieve him from responsibility under international law, provided a moral choice was in fact possible to him.

And that’s my big sticking point with Itachi. He had a moral choice. He chose genocide instead of literally anything else. There can be a thousand different arguments about why the moral choice wouldn’t have worked, why it would have been harder, why it would have been hard for Itachi as a person to make, what other options he could have possibly had. But, honestly? That doesn’t change the fact that he could have made it.

Regardless of all other factors, he had a choice, and he chose genocide.

Befehl ist Befehl is not an excuse. There’s always a moral choice. And when Itachi is outright painted as a hero, as a martyr, as a pinnacle of goodness, it’s wrong. Genocide is not right. Itachi had a choice and he decided to follow orders. That makes him a soldier. It doesn’t make him a hero.

One can argue Itachi’s moral complexity and motivations forever. It won’t change what he did. And whenever someone tells me he was just following orders, the response that’s always on the tip of my tongue is I know another set of people who used that excuse for genocide. And somehow, I don’t think you would call them heroes.

so if obito hadn't survived the rock crushing him which of your descendants would you be willing to have taken in as an apprentice? (shisui? naori? itachi? izumi? fugaku? mikoto?)

I think you’ve mistaken me for Madara Uchiha. This is not a RP blog.

But to respond to your question, as a Madara fan (and ex-rper), I think he’d choose either Fugaku or Mikoto, because they’re the only ones with a brain amongst those you mentionned. Don’t know Izumi since I haven’t watched the fillers but she seems to be Sakura 2.0 with a sharingan (I could be wrong, but I’m tired of female characters having one sided crushes to the Super Awesome Male Character Who Actually Gets To Not Be Defined By Romance). Shisui is smarter than Itachi and cares about the clan but still a Konoha dog, Itachi is Itachi I don’t think I need to explain and who the hell is Naori?

Personally I’d love if he chose Mikoto, simply because I’m tired of male characetrs being awesome and powerful. Also because I want to see Mikoto in fights. After all, she’s a jounin.

So what you think of Boruto? Just feels like it's the shinobi cycle all over again, like they didn't learn from the past or something. Eh.

Honestly, I haven’t watched it XD I’ve been pretty cut off from the Naruto fandom for months now. Too much stress, not enough content. I prefer the Elder Scrolls. Overall, from what little I heard, it seems it’s the case. I honestly am not surprised. Kishimoto didn’t fix the issues he raised in the main manga, why would he do that in a next gen anime? It’s all about their op kids having op adventures (I still don’t see how they can make enemies more powerful than Madara but whatever). I’d rather watch Dragon Ball, at least there is Vegeta in it.

How do you feel about those who ship Hashirama with Madara, or Izuna with Tobirama?

Although I’m a MadaTobi shipper (Madara x Tobirama), I can see the appeal of MadaHashi : they’re Sasuke and Naruto’s previous reincarnations, they’re powerful ninjas on equal ground, they clearly care about each other and were childhood friends, they shared the same dream…Still, I personally prefer to see them as friends. I dislike Hashirama and he showed that he had no problem disregarding Madara’s (and everyone else’s) opinions if they differ from his, is manipulative and even went as far as kill Madara (provoked, I know, but still). It’s tragic, which adds to the appeal, but it’s meh to me. I prefer to imagine how Madara’s and Tobirama’s dynamic would be, especially given the old grudges between them. They’re also very similar in many aspects, unlike Madara and Hashirama.

As for TobiIzu I have one word : wtf. Although I think most who ship it are MadaHashi shippers who need to ship the younger brothers together because cute and double dates. Everyone to their own but personally, I don’t see why I should ship Tobirama with a character who we know nothing about besides his name and his status as Madara’s younger brother.

I found your blog while ramdomly browsing. I was surprised someone else liked Kakuzu. But I want to discuss Itachi. I know you dislike Itachi, but I like him as a character. He showed that no matter how supposedly smart you are, society will still shape your mindset. Look at what he did. He thought the society that was promoting oppression toward his own people was right and went off killing his family. I watched Naruto because of him and Kisame - their design is what drew me in to the series - and I always thought he was still a disturbed fuck even after it was revealed that the massacre happened, I think he even admits he was wrong in one point. I don’t get the wanking he gets. Sure he is supposed to be a genius, but he let himself get used by the society who ostracized his entire family and thought that society was right. That’s what I liked about him after his story was revealed by Obito: a person’s mindset is shaped by society one way or another, no matter how supposedly intelligent that person is.

I can see your point, and yeah, if he were presented like that, he’d be an interesting character (although a still terrible person because you still have control over what you want to believe in. You can’t blame everything on society. Empathy is natural). I personally prefered part 1 Itachi, mainly because of the parallel between him and Gaara. I thought it’d be revealed that he killed his family to prove a point : that’s what happens when you raise a child to be a killer. And that he spared Sasuke mainly because he wanted a reason to live, and a fight between him and his younger brother was a good reason to survive.

DON’T SCROLL PASS! FOUND THIS ON GOOGLE+ AND I FEEL LIKE IT IS IMPORTANT!

The fact that there are Net Neutrality posts that fit my blog theme boggles me

But yeah, this is important! I have to see if my anxiety will let me help out, but if not then I am absolutely cheering from the sidelines!!!

Hey how would you solve the child soldiers situation? Surely they should receive some basic training?

I talked a bit about it here. All they have to do is make it illegal, and make sure no village train children in secret.
