The creator of these images is Matt Bernstein, one of my favorite educators online -- he makes incredibly clear, forceful collections of information like this one. He's queer, has fantastic nails, and has done a lot of education recently from his perspective as a Jewish person on why supporting Palestine is so important. Every time I advocate for voting people are like "no you shouldn't vote! Read this literature, it'll totally change the way you view voting!" And every single time it's the same fucking "you shouldn't vote because both parties are exactly the same so it won't make a difference who wins" bullshit wrapped up in some fancy language

The other two things that happen every time I advocate for voting are

A) people start berating me for saying that nobody should do anything other than vote because voting will solve all our problems if we just win this next election (I have never said this)

B) People get weirdly like. Judgemental? About the concept that I still care about what happens in the US when there's an ongoing genocide, because it means I must be a self-centered racist who just doesn't care about brown foreigners. How dare you care about the safety of queer Americans when people in Gaza aren't safe? How dare you care about your labor rights when Palestine is still under occupation? How dare you not finish your food, don't you know there are children starving in Africa? Don't you know some people have it worse than you? Don't you know it's unforgivably selfish to care about your own health and safety while bad things are happening elsewhere?
