in case anyone was wondering, i did catch link saying the words "personal confidant of mine, dave grohl" on todays gmmore and it healed me a little
it was late when i posted this (it's also late now, and i might be a lil bit high, but shhh) and i have since done some thinking:
link said they "talked about burgers once" and in the episode where he talks about seeing dave, he saw him in a habit burger, picking up food. if this man brought this up to dave.....i will simply go mad. not just because the first fic i wrote about them had link awkwardly bringing up this exact situation
once, during the foo fighters' very first tour, way back in the 90s, link and his girlfriend at the time went to one of their shows. so clearly, link was enough of a fan at the time to want to go to their concert. however, in that habit burger episode, rhett says that it's "not like link is a fan or anything" to which link is like "yeah, okay"
personal confidant, who link is definitely not a fan of but has been to at least one concert and seen the sound city documentary and also wanted to approach in a habit burger once, with whom he talked about burgers once, eventually
