plot about muse a and muse b who were two high school sweethearts who had a really bad break-up but are always kind of on each other’s minds even as the years pass and then one day muse a moves into an apartment complex miles away from their hometown because of a job and their neighbor is constantly having sex and it’s just getting really annoying so one night they they go knock on the door to say ‘HEY CAN YOU STOP BANGING ALL THE TIME I’M TRYING TO SLEE–’ and then whoops it’s muse b. surprise!!

hey guess who’s back ! so this theme has been highly requested for a while and i thought i might as well share it with you guys. i made it a while ago as a counterpart for my zelda theme, though this is much simpler as i’d originally made it just for personal use. most aspects of this theme are customizable and instructions are left in the code however should you find any errors or if you need help installing it don’t hesitate to shoot me a message !

don’t make your muse a poc for brownie points. stop using black people & black muses as your token for popularity. make a poc muse because you want to try and write them, not because you think it’s trendy or they’re “aesthetically pleasing”. don’t make a muse a person of colour just because you think that people of colour will suddenly pay attention to you. they can smell fake a mile away, they can tell when your intentions are not to do justice but just to be popular. 

let me tell you right now, black women muses are fucking ignored, japanese characters in anime are given white face claims or they use fucking korean face claims. 

black muses are literally shunned unconsciously by a large amount of people, muslim muses are ignored a lot of the time too… and don’t fucking get me started on queer people of colour either lmao !!!!!!!!

and this isn’t your token white person trying 2 get brownie points either, i’m actually fucking tired of white people trying to suck up 2 people of colour or use poc muses as a way to gain something.

Do we need to tell you we aren’t thrilled about the President’s budget? Didn’t think so.

This is just the first of many calls to action we’ll be posting, but for now here’s what you can do:

  1. Call your Members of Congress and ask them to publicly oppose wiping out IMLS, and ask them to commit to fighting for federal library funding.
  2. Share your library’s IMLS story using the #SaveIMLS tag - tell us how IMLS funding supports your local community.
  3. Sign up to receive our Action Alerts - we will let you know when and how to take action, and send you talking points and background information.
