Hi! I saw your review for Klara and the Sun in Book Recommendations and wanted to reach out. On Friday, I started another community called Our Tumblr Bookstore. It's designed to help fiction published/aspiring authors and readers engage with each other. As both a reader and author, I've seen how tricky it can be to find books that are a great fit for you as an individual. So, my hopes are that this will make it easier, giving book lovers a chance to outright say what they're looking for, letting authors connect them with works, and/or interact with authors to learn more about their stories. It'll also help out new authors who could easily get overshadowed by the fame of big names. Does this sound like something you'd be interested in?

Hey friend 🫂🫂🫂

You don’t stop thinking about it overnight. Unfortunately, it lingers. But little by little, you stop thinking of them and start taking care of yourself.

You remind yourself that they didn’t choose you, and that’s not a reflection of your worth but of their limited capacity.

You let yourself grieve the version of the future you imagined while slowly building a new one that isn’t dependent on someone who didn’t stay.

And every time your mind drifts to what they might be doing, you gently pull it back to what you deserve: peace, growth, love that isn’t conditional or replaceable.

It takes time. But healing is the proof that you were always whole, even when you felt shattered.

I've been where you are, friend, and I promise it does get better eventually. Until then, I'm sending you love from Kansas.
