10 Years of ASSASSIN’S CREED
3 May 2006 Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed for PS3 - the latest project currently in development at the publisher’s Montreal studio.[…]
Assassin’s Creed is a stealth/action epic set at the height of the Third Crusade in 12th-century Jerusalem, and seems to borrow elements from both Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia. As an acrobatic young killer named Altair, players will work for the Assassins, a secret society dedicated to ending the Crusade.

The man kept quiet for a time before listening to his Captain speak up. He knew he was a clever man but he had to be given how he was raised. That father of his made him understand how to see through acts quickly as an Admiral on a naval ship. Shaking the memories away, he listened to James’ speak up and smirked.
“I tend to give off that affect to people who i feel are the right fit for me in a sense of giving my loyalty to them. I don’t give it easily to those that don’t deserve it. As for why I jumped on the chance, I want to survive and why not offer my skills to help you out in the process while having a place to sleep without being put in shackles?” he uttered.
It was easier to sign on to a crew as he understood the sea better than he knew land even if he could hunt. Samuel preferred to feel the wind and the scent of the waters first thing in the mornings and before turning in for the evenings upon a ship. It was burned into his blood and he had to stay with it or break down unless someone could keep him burning for life continually.
The threat aimed to him merely made the man lean back in his chair as he eyed the woman in disguise. It was a well aimed one but Samuel showed no signs of fear while his dark eyes zoned in on the Captain.
“I have no intentions of uttering it to anyone. It stays between us as it always will until you decide to reveal it to the world. I swear this to you, Kidd.”
Hearing Arrow’s firm reply, he turned his head, fixed him with a long, scrutinizing stare--as if scouring every curve of his face for signs of dishonesty betraying his words. While the outing of his true gender wouldn’t be so ruinous as to turn his devoted crew against him, he had his doubts that they’d be so kind as to brush aside the deception of his heritage. Son of the great William Kidd? How many pirates seeking a crew had been convinced by that lie alone?
No. He had the trust of his newest recruits yet to gain. And even then, James had no intentions of putting away the disguise he had lived so long upholding. At least not by his own doing. Or anyone else who hoped to keep their body in one piece.
He studied the face across from him moments longer before nodding, satisfied, and settling back. “I’m going against my better judgment and trustin’ ya, Arrow. Let this be a warning that I won’t hesitate to act accordingly should ya betray that trust. I’ve little mercy to offer crafty weasels of the sort.”
