Okay, but I don't think the question was about if someone doesn't like your book. What if someone wrongly thinks your book supports their bigotry or something like that?

For me, it's the same thing. Some people are going to miss the point. That's how it works especially with big numbers of readers. Some will miss it one way, some the other. Even if most people don't.

All you can do is write the next thing, and not obsess about the ones who didn't get it.

it also kills thousands of patients a year. sleep deprivation is indistinguishable from being drunk in terms of how badly it affects reaction time, rational thought, decision making, and manual dexterity. people are making just as many life-or-death decisions about patients at the ends of those 24 hour shifts as they are at the beginning. we need a national medical worker's strike and we need it yesterday

Hitori Bocchi is honestly one of my favorite anime ever - I don't know why something about it just pinged me hard, but it was so sweet and funny, and the girls befriending Bocchi were so kind and patient with her while also having troubles/fears of their own. Absolutely a comfort show for me and I'd recommend it to anyone.
