The reversal of Justice is as straight forward as the right side up for the card. It is injustice, false accusations, false imprisonments, the innocent suffering, corrupt systems and embracing lies.

I love how much Nanny Ogg bullies Agnes about being a boring virgin, while also being glad she’s The Maiden to round up the little group.

Which birds I would assign to each of the Endless siblings

Destiny: Owl (pretty self-explanatory, often symbolizing wisdom and acting as a spiritual guide. They can also hold a prophetic meaning)

Death: Dove (a little less obvious. Obviously ravens are more often associated with death but that's already Dream's thing. But doves can also represent tranquility and mourning as well as the cycle of life so it definitely fits her just as well)

Dream: Raven (no need to explain)

Destruction: Eagle (It was between this or falcon but falcons typically symbolize qualities closer to warriors while eagles power and freedom which I think Destruction stands for more)

Desire: Peacock (not much to say here. Peacocks typically are associated with wealth and prosperity as well as beauty and pride which is absolutely Desire)

Despair: Vulture (there are various reasons why I chose this one, but mainly because for as many negative associations there are with vultures, they commonly symbolize rebirth and new beginnings which for comic-readers will make sense)

Delirium: Platypus (Yes, I know, they're mammals technically. initially, I wanted to say hummingbird because of their high energy and correlations to creativity, but then I thought it would be so in-character for Del to be something that's isn't entirely a bird. They're little weirdos and i love them)

Any you disagree with or you want to add to?

“[Khokhmah/Sophia resonates with] Asherah, she of the sacred Tree. Proverbs 3:18 calls up an image of Khokhmah that originates in the oldest core of Jewish culture: “She is a Tree of Life to all who lay hold of her.” In the same book, Khokhmah sings, “The one who finds me, finds life.” Like the goddess Asherah…Khokhmah is linked to the pillar. “My throne was in the pillar of cloud,” she declares in Ben Sirach (24:4). In Proverbs 9:1 she builds a house of seven pillars.”

"In Buchach powiat it is believed that if a human being walks across the place where rainbow takes water, they would be taken too with it, and let out on the other side after a time, but if it were a man, he would come out as a woman, and if a woman, she would come out as a man. After that this person would change from man to woman every month (village of Velesniv)." - Outline of Ukrainian Mythology, V. Hnatiuk

She climbs to the peak of the highest roof, the tallest tree, scales the biggest pylon, unaffected by vertigo and unafraid of the danger. There is something stoic and grand about her, as if she is carved from ancient stone, standing tall and proud for century after century. The soft curve of her lips pulls up into a smile when they tell her she is their pillar, the perfect support throughout hardship. She protects those who depend on her, offering them help in times of need.
