Hi, I’m Alois! I’m 24 years old with a super complicated identity that I simplify to frayromantic aceflux pansexual transmasc genderqueer femme. I use any pronouns except for she/her, but I prefer au/audi, lun/luns, kir/kirli, they/them, he/him, and fae/faer pronouns the most.

I am not the original owner of thepokedexisgay. This blog used to belong to another user who deleted suddenly. I was disappointed, but learned how to make my own pride icons and grabbed the URL. I’ve kept this blog going since 2017 and I hope it continues on for a while yet.

This blog is explicitly pro-MOGAI, pro-aspec, pro-mspec, pro-mspec gay men/lesbians, pro-he/him and they/them lesbians and she/her and they/them gay men, pro-neopronouns, and pro-kin and pro-system. Before requesting, please be sure to check out the rules page.

I do more than just simple icons here, though. Not only do I have a collection of flags available here, but I also do art recolors, sprite recolors, fancy icons (human characters only), mask edits (human characters only), and solidarity sets! Below the cut are examples of the different things you can request, along with specifications. I also have a Google Drive folder of shiny Pokemon recolors available here.

I've seen a lot of people with tags like this, and that is wonderful! Please do what you can. If you cannot do everything, that is completely fine! Some people are not able to call off of work or get out of school. Some people can't stop buying things, and that's all ok.

Here's what you can do, if you're able:

Don't make unnecessary purchases (only buy necessities like groceries, medicine, and sanitary needs)

Buy with cash where you can

Avoid these companies

To clarify what the sections mean on the info graphic, because I didn't know:

1. Consumer boycott targets - The BDS movement calls for a complete boycott of these brands carefully selected due to the company's proven record of complicity in Israeli apartheid.

2. Divestment and exclusion targets - The BDS movement works to pressure governments, institutions, investment funds, city councils, etc. to exclude from procurement contracts and investments and to divest from, as the case may be, as many complicit companies as practical, especially arms companies and banks.

3. Pressure targets - The BDS movement actively calls for pressure campaigns against these targets. This includes boycotts when reasonable alternatives exist, as well as lobbying, peaceful disruptions, and social media pressure.

4. Organic boycott targets - The BDS movement did not initiate these grassroots boycott campaigns but supports them due to these brands’ complicity in Israel’s genocide and apartheid against Palestinians.
