Sneak Peeks ā€œCode of Conductā€dialog

Sneak Peek 1 In OPS, Mac is on the screen. Callen: "We're secure." Mac: "Two days ago SECNAV ordered me to fun point on a very delicate and disturbing case." Sam: "And this delicate case was assigned to..." Mac: "The NCIS Office of Special Projects. Your Team is being ordered to investigate some serious allegations by two Navy SEAL's against Special Warfare Chief Petty Officer Thomas Argento. Argento's SEAL's are in Los Angeles to specifically speak to you Sam." Sam: "Because I'm a retired SEAL?" Mac: "Well, within the Team's you're a bit of a legend." Callen: "Before my partner's head explodes, will you mind telling us what the allegations are?" After Sam gives Callen ā€œI told you soā€ smirk. Mac: "Operators First Class Kendricks and Barr claim Chief Argento murdered an unarmed, unconscious, and injured Taliban prisoner in cold blood. This clearly violates the Uniform Code of Justice, but it is also an international War Crime." Sam: "Kendricks and Barr are accusing another SEAL of murder?" Mac: "Yes."

Sneak Peek 2 In a conference room, seated. Wallace: "He's arrogant. Word is, even if you find this Team, they aren't going to answer your questions." Callen: "Well they're either loyal to Argento, which makes them complicit, or..." Roundtree: "They're afraid. We already got word that Argento threatened the first two SEAL's who came forward. Just pull him out of the field and take him into custody." Wallace: "Young man slow your roll. The Team's are my family." Sam: "And mine." Wallace: "SEAL's are men of the highest character." Sam: "Right now we don't have a sworn statement. On this one we look before we leap. You understand?" Roundtree: "Yes, sir." annoyed.

Sneak Peek 1 Kensi and Fatima in the gym. Kensi: "Kinda getting the feeling this is not only about dating." Fatima: "Youā€™re right. It's everything lately." Kensi: "Well, you've been through a lot in the last few months. You're fighting through it." Fatima: "I'm just... I'm so tired." Knesi: "This job can certainly take it out of you." Fatima: "That's an understatement." Kensi: "Fatima, this is exactly why I'm telling you, you need to have a life outside of this job. It's what's going to get you through to the next day." Fatima: "Yeah. I currently rely on Ruffles and The Great British Bake Off to do that."

Sneak Peek 2 Sam, Callen outside a house. Sam: "Nice neighborhood." Callen: "Too quiet." Sam: "Yeah, you're right. Be hard to saw your furniture in half in the middle of the night without getting a noise complaint." Callen: "Yeah, also be too hard to grab Forbes without making a fuss." Sam: "Guess you're tired of talking about this, huh?" Callen: "What can I say? I wear my heart on my sleeve." Sam: "You wear your heart on your sleeve. What if you need a realtor? I know a guy. Just saying." Callen: "Huh, course you do. You also know a tailor, a cobbler. Remind me again, what is the name of your candlestick maker?" Burglar alarm sounds, guys draw guns to where they heard glass break. Sam: "Federal Agents." Callen: "Hands where we can see them." Rhea: "Don't shoot. I'm also a Federal Agent. Um, technically I worked for a Federal agency. Are you guys familiar with NCIS?"

TVLine Scoop

On NCIS: LA, will we see more of Kensi and Deeksā€™ home life, like we have before? ā€“Cindy

While we wonā€™t be home with ā€œDensiā€ during any of this seasonā€™s remaining episodes, this Sunday you will see the marrieds have some fun as they handle a problem at the Squid & Dagger. (Along the way, you will also learn why Deeks is seriously ā€” but amusingly ā€” miffed with his wife.)

Whatā€™s going on with NCIS: LAā€˜s Eric and Nell? ā€”Matt

Although the latest episode hinted at Nell leaving the team, I am told that story point was just to free up Renee Felice Smith for an outside project (as the CBS drama did earlier this season with her scene partner Barrett Foa). But suffice to say, Nell does have some important life decisions to make ā€” and Hetty will give her the time to do so

9 'NCIS: LA' Season 11 Qs Answered ā€” Plus, Catherine Bell's Return as Mac! (PHOTOS) Kate Hahn

The smart, brave and blessedly quirky NCIS: Los Angeles team want every case to end with the threat neutralized and a round of drinks at the Squid & Dagger. They've had a little more trouble with other goals.

"Everyone's been grappling with where they are in life, the decisions they've made, and where they're headed. There are a lot of unknowns," says Chris O'Donnell, whose agent G. Callen has always been the outfit's steadfast core, along with his partner, former Navy SEAL Sam Hanna (LL Cool J).

Let's turn unknowns into knowns: Here are the season's biggest questions, answered.

Is Hetty leaving?

The seeds have been sown throughout Season 11: Formidable head honcho Hetty Lange (Linda Hunt) "knows she can't do the job forever," says exec producer R. Scott Gemmill. "She's been trying to groom someone to replace her [but is] at a loss and trying to find a solution. She loves her team." For real: Hetty officiated the wedding of Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) last March! But this decision canā€™t be rushed, so she will return in Season 12.

Who can take her place?

Hetty's No. 1 choice, intelligence analyst Nell Jones (RenƩe Felice Smith), is out, at least for now (read on). Callen has already told her he doesn't want the gig. "He's not cut out to be at a desk," O'Donnell says. And Sam wants to train the next generation of agents. There may be surprises all around when Lange does tap a successor.

"Hetty is a wild card," LL Cool J says. "Sam and Callen have to analyze everything she says and does from 360 degrees or even 720. She's crafty."

Is Nell gone for good?

On the March 29 hour, doubts about her career led to an extended vacation, but Nell will be back. (Smith is taking a hiatus to tackle other projects.) Until then, her work hubby, tech operator Eric Beale (Barrett Foa), and newbie Fatima Namazi (Medalion Rahimi) are handling Ops.

Is a happy ending in store for Callen and Anna?

On April 19, as the team looks for a missing NCIS agent connected to an arms smuggler, Callen starts to put down roots with his girlfriend, Moscow-born security specialist and NCIS pinch hitter Anna Kolcheck (Bar Paly).

"They're attracted to each other, and they get a kick out of each other. There's shared history," O'Donnell says. "For Callen, [a serious relationship is] unusual. It gives him stability and gets him to contemplate establishing a normal life, which has not ever been who he is." Gemmill adds a note of caution: "His path doesn't go quite as swimmingly as he had hoped."

Can Sam trust Katherine?

The attraction between the widower and Katherine Casillas (Moon Bloodgood), insurance broker to the rich, famous and well-connected, hit a bump in February: Sam suspected unpatriotic intentions in her dealings with a Chinese buyer. (He was wrong.) With that behind them, the couple generated some heat in the April 12 episode.

Still, "Sam sleeps with one eye open because of the nature of his life and job," LL Cool J says. "He trusts her to a certain extent, but these guys have trusted people and ended up in a world of hurt." Later, sophisticated Katherine "opens up his world and takes him to places he wouldn't normally go," Gemmill says.

Will Kensi and Deeks get the baby they so badly want?

The still-newlyweds have been hoping to get pregnant, with no success. (Realizing it might take years to conceive has already brought Kensi to tears.) They start to examine why it hasnā€™t happened. "Is it the stress of the job? Something else? Is it just not meant to be?" Gemmill says. "It will have repercussions in terms of how they operate as a team and within the team."

Will Roundtree stick around?

Driven young FBI agent Devin Rountree (Caleb Castille) joins Sam and Callen on a trip to Afghanistan in the action-packed April 26 episode, which reveals a lot about whether he's got the goods to join NCIS. "There's no guarantee," LL Cool J says. "It's not just about being able to shoot straight or be brave. It's about making decisions under pressure ā€” your emotional and spiritual endurance in the heat of battle."

Mac is back. Is that another step toward a JAG reboot?

Lt. Col. Sarah "Mac" Mackenzie (Catherine Bell) returns in that April 26 episode ā€” the season's last new one ā€” seeking help on a case. This is Bell's second stint reprising her role from JAG (1995ā€“2005), which spun off the NCIS franchise and on which Gemmill was a writer. Last season her on-air reunion with costar David James Elliott ignited a fan frenzy ā€” could JAG get another chance? "Never say never," Gemmill comments.

Will the Russians continue to be a threat?

We know Russian spy Kate Miller/Katya (Eve Harlow) ā€” Anna's onetime cellmate ā€” is still searching for her. The story advances at the start of Season 12. According to Gemmill: "Something from Anna's past comes back and threatens the team. It will put loved ones in jeopardy and put Callen on a new path that strains his relationship with Sam and the team. It's powerful." We'll need a shot of vodka for this.

Sneak Peeks ā€œKnock Downā€ dialog

Sneak Peek 1 In the hall of OSP. Eric: "Hey, Good Morning." Deeks: "Uh, how's it going,...buddy?" Eric: "Uh, it's going great. How are you?" Deeks: "Don't change the subject." Eric: "I wasn't. I was just returning the obligatory ā€œMorningā€ salutation." Deeks: "Huh, fine. I'm not ready to talk about how I broke my big toe." Eric: "How you, oh you're in a boot. How did you do that." Deeks: "I'm Not Ready To Talk About it!" Eric: "Oh, ok. Um well, I guess I'll just tell you when we have a new case." Deeks: "Really? That's it? Ā That's all we're...It's all you're going to give?" Eric: "You can be the first person I tell when we have a new case." Deeks: "Eric." Deeks hobbled up to Eric. Eric: "Martin." Deeks: "It's me." Eric: "This is getting weird." Deeks: "Damn right, it's getting weird. So let's get weird together."

Sneak Peek 2 Standing at the remains of the Safe House, with a fire crew searching it. Sam: "Do we know what happened here?" Fire Chief: "Well, it's an old building, which means the electrical went fast. So did the wood paneling, so did the roof, but my guys are the best. They knocked down the happening within 34 minutes after arrival on scene." Callen: "Do you how it started?" Fire Chief: "We're still working on that part, but at this point, we're just lucky the fire didn't spread. Didn't hurt anyone, Didn't kill anyone." Sam: "But Chief this is an FBI Safe House, so we're probably looking at arson? Correct?" Fire Chief: laughing, "Hold on there tiger. We don't go throwing the "A" bomb around here until we know the hell, we're working with. You feel me?" Sam: "Yeah, I feel you. Do you mind if we hang around until ā€˜we know the hell we're working with' ?" Fire Chief: "Be my guest. Hey, guys, these two are going to be hanging around for a bit so get them some energy drinks. Especially for the big fellow, poor thing looks parched." Sam: ā€œHmm, yeah." Callen: "Why are you throwing around "A" bombs?" Sam: "I'm parched."

Sneak Peeks ā€œFortune Favors the Braveā€dialog

Sneak Peek 1 Hetty sitting in the gym, after practicing with the martial art fighters. Hetty: "What are you still doing here?" Callen: who was standing behind her laughs, "I am just tying up a few loose ends." Hetty: "Well, considered them tied. Now go! I don't want to see you, at least for two weeks." Callen: "I'm going. I just wanted to say Thank You. I don't know what strings you exactly pulled but I appreciate you getting Anna exonerated." Hetty: "Well, I'm afraid I had nothing to do with it Mr. Callen. I just hope it was all for the right reasons." Callen: "What does that mean?" Hetty: "I'm getting cynical. Now, be gone! Go. Fly...up."

Sneak Peek 2 Kensi and Nell in the Armory. Nell: "Actually Kens, if you have a minute?" Kensi: "Yeah, what's up?" Nell: "Well, between you and me, I don't think I want to be an agent anymore." Kensi: "Ok. Um. What suddenly brought this on?" Nell: "It's not really sudden. At least, not for me. I mean it's a lot of things. Mainly, I don't think I'm the same person I was when I started working here." Kensi: "Are you kidding me? None of us are." Nell: "No, no. I know that. Sorry, this is hard to put into words. Um, I feel like it's not right for me any more."

Sneak Peek 3 ā€œMissing Timeā€Ā

Dialog

Continuation of Sneak Peek 2. Now sitting in the office, watching the video.

Raines: "There are three explanations on what you see on that screen. The first, it's the result of a technical glitch or bad piece of code. The second is that we're looking at an aircraft belonging to a foreign power. Sam: "A foreign power? If that were true, that would mean they're capable of things we didn't know were possible." Callen: "What's the third?" Raines: "That it doesn't belong to anyone. At least not anyone from this planet." Callen: "I assume Walterā€™s was leaning in that direction?" Raines: "Oh, not just leaning, he believes. And after our argument, he also believes I'm working with the Pentagon to cover it up."

Sneak Peek 1 At the Squid & Dagger. Callen: "The CIA said it was going to take a few weeks to expunge your criminal records." Anna: "No. They said it will be weeks until they decide whether to expunge by criminal record. They might decide I'm not worth the trouble." Callen: "Well, ok. Joelle said she will get it done. So?" Anna: "Joelle doesn't have that type of power. It's not a small thing, Callen. We're taking dozen of Federal and State databases that need to be altered. Court records wiped and there's the video. Hours of news footage with my face on it. Not to mention everyone who was involved in the man hunt. What's the CIA going to do about them? Erase their memories? And there you are putting everything on the line to harbor a fugitive. I just..." Callen: "Hey, stop. I made the choice. I stand by it. And I will stand by you."
