She shines, indeed. She is the spitting image of sunlight and warmth, her light shining through even the darkest of souls. Lux does not mean to โoutshineโ anyone, but it does tend to happen more often than she realizes.
She does not even realize the Virtuoso has been watching her this whole time, nor will she, until he has made his presence known- which he happens to be good at- should he wish to.

Kayn plops his head down in her lap as she rests under a tree. He takes her hand and places it on his head as he closes his eyes.
It was warm outside as they laid in the grass under the great willow tree. Her hands brush through his long, dark hair as he lays himself in her lap, and her back rests against the bark. Another beautiful day of peace gone by, one she was truly grateful for. No more hiding, and no more fear. She didnโt have to be afraid anymore, not here, and not around him. He accepted who and what she was, which was something she had always wanted, but was never allowed to have.
She hums in thought, a certain memory bringing a smile to her face.
โYou know,โ she begins with a chuckle, โone of the children asked me when we were getting married today. When I asked why she said that, she said โbecause you and master Kayn love each other! Just like in the books!โ And I thought that was the cutest thing I had ever heard.โ Lux continues to brush through his hair, knowing heโs had plenty of the other children mention the same. โWhat do you think about that?โ
She raises a brow at his answer. A part of her did think he wouldโve agreed to a ceremony, if it involved her. Still, she doesnโt let her concern show, knowing it wouldโve just put one more stressful thing on him. Still, a wedding was something she had dreamed of since she was a child, fantasizing about it when she would read her romance novels. Of course he wouldnโt want something like that.
Lux continued to brush his hair our, sighing softly as she did. โIโd like to think it would be fun. Seeing this place all prettied up for us.โ She offered with a smile, leaning it to press her lips to his head. โYou and me, saying our vows, sealed with a kiss? Sounds so romantic to me.โ She mused and leaned back once again, enjoying the warmth of the setting sun around them.
โI think youโd like it, too.โ
