Also I realized from looking at gifs of the gorgeous Hideko Takamine that absolutely none of the propaganda for Judith Anderson shows her SMILING. She usually looks stern and severe in most pictures (probably what comes with being a dramatic actress always cast as scary women) but she really could be so adorable when she’s not being scary. I love how she smiles with her eyes.
