WE WILL WIN THIS

FOR WOMEN

FOR YURI

FOR BEING CANONICALLY MARRIED

I like how this has more votes than the Hannigram or Ineffable Husbands polls now, in a day. And it means that Sulemio leads by just under 10k, I'm pretty sure. I think it's sad that the best calls for Destiel are "remember your roots" and "history" and "cultural importance". You know, stuff villains in media and (much more notably) real life shitheads are known for saying. Meanwhile, the Sulemio side is mostly joy and adoration, with a side of "let's undo the tradition we now have". It's full of people excited at a wlw ship actually moving forward and succeeding, even on this scale. That the "destiel site" doesn't have to be defined by hating women and begging for scraps. I LOVE seeing the Sulemio posts because of the love and joy poured in. Destiel has just been bile. Fuck tradition for tradition's sake. Fuck dealing with scraps because it's all that we've ever known. Fuck settling for what's "supposed to be". Fuck being defined by that which was. These statements apply to far more than just this poll... so I'll just end it wiiiiith LET'S GO LESBIANS!

from "gender outlaws: the next generation"

image transcript:

Let me break it down this way: some lesbians and gays feel that their issues are more important than transgender issues, because transgender people are freaks. Some transgender people—often, but not only, transsexuals—view transsexual issues as more important than the issues of, say, cross-dressers. Some among the more genderqueer portions of our community look down upon those who opt to live in a more “normatively gendered” space. There are even groups that cross-dressers feel superior to: sissies, drag kings and queens, “little girls,” and so on. Yes, I’m sure that we could follow even each of these groups and find that, eventually, everyone has someone they view as a freak.

This is a human phenomenon, and one which occurs especially, it seems, among marginalized groups. Trekkers versus trekkies versus people in Klingon costumes, or furries versus fursuiters versus, oh, plushies. I’m sure if I looked at model railroaders, I’d probably find that HO gauge fans look down at N scale, or something like that. The taxonomies are endless, often circular, and are usually graded to a fineness that would be invisible to any outsider. We just want to identify the “real” freaks, so we can feel closer to normal. In reality, not a single one of us is so magically normative as to claim the right to separate out the freaks from everyone else. We are all freaks to someone. Maybe even—if we’re honest—to ourselves.

heat intolerance for disabled people causes difficulty every summer but honestly my heart goes out to every disabled person in the parts of the world most affected by global warming. it's not just confined to summer. the heat levels reached are seriously dangerous to abled people in these areas, nevermind disabled people who are more vulnerable

CONTROVERSIAL OPINION ABOUT BISEXUALITY

that purple in the middle is not the right saturation, it doesn't fit with the other two colors and it drives me crazy.

all right, I think I got this, I've got dual citizenship and I have another flag we can borrow from:

step 1

step 2

step 3

This is true bi/ace solidarity.

This is the only correct way

[Patchnotes]

  1. swapped purple in bisexual and asexual flags for better saturation matching and color theory

Sending my unconditional love to addicts and people with horrible compulsions and people who are suicidal and everyone who feels utterly alone and all the psychotic people who society disdains and the homeless and people who feel lost and everyone who doesn't want to get better and people seeking vindication and people who can't let go and people who are undesired. I love you all so much.

“Part of my torture was being able to see how people were being tortured,” he said. “At first you couldn’t see. You couldn’t see the torture, the vengeance, the oppression.
“When they removed my blindfold, I could see the extent of the humiliation and abasement … I could see the extent to which they saw us not as human beings but as animals.”
"A 19-year-old detainee told an Al Mezan lawyer that he was tortured from the moment he was arrested," the group said. "He described how three of his fingernails were removed with pliers during interrogation. He also stated that investigators unleashed a dog on him and subjected him to shabeh—a form of torture which involves detainees being handcuffed and bound in stress positions for long periods—three times over three days of interrogation. He was then placed in a cell for 70 days, where he experienced starvation and extreme fatigue."

I hope the zionist regime burns down I hope everyone who defends the iof suffers in this life and the next. I hope you lib zionist apologists hear children screams in your dreams until you die.

I wish for a free palestine in my lifetime and I hope the survivors of Gaza and the camps live to see it. I wish our martyrs are in a paradise that is reminiscent of a palestine without border walls checkpoints and soldiers. I wish peace to their loved ones who survive without them. I wish justice be brought and leave no one complicit unscathed.
