They’d seen some serious crap. Done some serious crap. But that kitchen? It took Sam all of three seconds to step out of the room and upheave his greek salad from lunch.

Summary: A few weeks after you and Ben celebrate your first Christmas together, Ben is returning from another mission with the Supe Affairs team. When he discovers that you’ve been taken, he’ll do whatever it takes to find you. And then, to help you heal.
AN: Welcome back to the BMD-verse! Let me tell you, I’ve had this mini series outlined for months, but now I thought it was finally time to get to it. If you’re not tired of the Break Me Down world yet, I very much hope you enjoy Wake Me Up.
**As a reminder, this story is set shortly after Love Actually, and will contain references from that three-part story.

Tags/Warnings: 18+ only. Starting off strong in this one: with mature themes, show level violence, angst, kidnapping, PTSD, mentions of torture (not too graphic), and character death.
Part 1: “Familiar Territory”
The start of a new year continued a steady rhythm for you and Ben. Namely, another successful mission for the Supe Affairs team.
While you were patched into the team’s communications line from the safety of your desk back at the S.A. headquarters in New York, your friends were a few states over in Denver, Colorado. They’d just arrested a supe that had been committing a series of bank robberies by literally slipping away from the police, thanks to his particular superpower.
“Somebody better get this shit off of me,” M.M. groused.
He wasn’t too happy about some questionable ooze this particular supe secreted as a defense mechanism. According to Frenchie’s research, it was the same shit that certain frogs could produce to repel predators.
“Need a good hose down, more like,” said Butcher. “You smell fuckin’ foul.”
“Like Satan’s ass crack,” Ben remarked.
You couldn’t hold back a snort of amusement.
Damn we're jumping right into the fire on this one!

Anon here that made the file, I would never steal it! I made sure your name was all over it! On the cover, in the chapters, ect! I can't imagine someone putting all the effort in to make a story like that to that level and have someone steal it all!
Sorry nonnie! I didn't mean to imply that you had stolen it! Like I said, doing what you did just so you can read it whenever, I'm totally cool with it. Hell, you want to copy and paste it all and bound it into a book for your own use, go for it!
My only issue (and it's not with you at all) is when people take fics I've made and slap their name on it when they post to another site (which unfortunately has happened a few times). But it's been all good for awhile so fingers crossed it stays that way!

To the anon that asked about the APATCH ebook, I actually have a file for all the chapters and timestamps. I copy and pasted into Google Docs then converted to a Ebup! I'm not sure I'd that would work for everyone, but it worked for me and let me move it to kindle! I did it so I could read them all during a road trip with no wifi🤣
That works too as an option for anon! And I’ll just put it out there, I don’t have a problem with you guys doing that for your PERSONAL use! I’m flattered you want to be able to read it in different ways!

Hm, I haven't really thought of doing that. If I ever did anything with it most likely it'd be putting it on Ao3 (which I think has a download option which is how I've gotten stuff on my kindle before). The problem is it's so LONG and getting stuff from a lot of individual word docs to Ao3 is kinda a pain/a lot of time (which is why I gave up on cross posting years ago). It's one of those wishful things to do someday so possibly!
