“That would’ve been easier to mention sooner!” Silver glared at Dana.

“A GPS would’ve been a great thing to use while we’re lost in a forest!” He growled. Obviously pissed off, “Why don’t we use it, then?”

Hey, at least I remembered. Don’t get all pissy with me. I’m just trying not to freak out. Damn.” The child glared right back at him, her hands on her hips. She wasn’t about to be psyched out by an older kid.

"At least you remembered." Yeah, that sounds about right.

"Well, let's see where the nearest market is." He kept a casual look, seething just a little, "That's easier then flying."

PSA -

VILLAINS ARE VILLAINS.

Villains are not a precious little punching bag that’s going to stand there and take your shit and be sassy with their hand on their hip. If you mess with the bull you get the horns – if you push a villain, you will get the wrath of a villain. If your character is rude/disrespectful to a villain, especially one in a high place of power, and the villain lashes out (whether it be verbally or physically) –

THEN YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE UPSET ABOUT IT. WHAT DID YOU EXPECT TO HAPPEN?

Don’t write with villain/cruel/evil characters if you can’t deal with a villain/cruel/evil character being less than nice to your precious cinnamon roll of a character. Surprise! That’s not how this works! If the villain suddenly kills your character without having spoken to you first, then you have absolutely every right to be mad. But if your character receives a verbal lashing or non-lethal physical response that is in character for the villain to give, then you need to deal with it

I’m also sick of this sense of prerogative way of thinking certain characters hold when it comes to villains. This mindset of, ‘oh this person is evil, bUT OBVIOUSLY THEY’LL LOVE ME AND I’LL BE THEIR SPECIAL SOMEONE THEY WON’T HATE ME OR TRY AND KILL ME.“ NO. STOP THAT. You cannot go into interactions with villains expecting them to absolutely fall in love with your character/be best friends with them. This is why it’s most times excruciatingly difficult to ship/bro-ship with villains. And even if this does happen, you should expect a villain to still be aggressive and/or rude from time to time.

A VILLAIN DOES NOT STOP BEING A VILLAIN JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE IN A RELATIONSHIP.

I’ve written villains for a long time now, and one thing has been made perfectly clear – you will get shit for writing your character too IC and you will get shit for writing your character too OOC. You will be fucking cursed out for your character being aggressive to those who are rude to them, and you will be blasted for writing them being nice even just from time to time. So fellow villain writers – just let your villain flag fly. Don’t fucking listen to people who try and give you shit either way for your portrayal. To those who do not write villains – respect them. Just because your character is sassy and spunky, doesn’t automatically give them the right to try and be disrespectful to someone who is most likely superior to them.

TL;DR IF YOU CAN’T STAND THE HEAT, GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN. IF YOU CAN’T DEAL WITH SOMEONE BEING CRUEL TO YOUR MUSE, DON’T WRITE WITH VILLAINS.

Reblog this if you're having fun playing your character.

Because it needs more of this. I want to see that people are having fun playing the muse that they’ve chosen. Not feeling obligated/pressured to play their muse the way they “should”; ie, the way others might try to pressure them into doing and trying to control them.

He seemed skeptical for a moment.

He decided to remain quiet until he gave up.
“Alright, let’s follow you, unless you have another bright idea.”

I dont have a light bulb on me, so I can’t have a bright idea now can I,” was her very serious response- Dana always took things literally. It didn’t seem to hard to navigate around the forest thanks to modern technology. Dana pulled out her cell phone and turned the screen to face him. See? I have GPS. So we won’t get lost in this forest.”

“Scary, huh.” For some reason, Silver just grew confused.

“Are you scared of birds? I know a way to get around, if that’s the case.”
Image

No, I’m not scared of birds. But birds keep stealing my headband and it’s not very nice of them to do that. Dana was more or less just annoyed by birds if anything. Of course, she didn’t seem to like Murkrows for some reason. But other than that, she was okay with bird Pokemon and she was okay with flying. I can fly. I don’t get scared. At least that much was true. But she wasn’t going to admit that she was scared of Honchrow, which was the second evolutionary form of Murkrow. It’s just….I’ve not been flying in a while…that’s all.

“Um, I think it’s the other way around…”

“If you want, we can fly on my Honchkrow, to see where we’re at.” Silver frowned, “We’re in the middle of a forest, I think we’re bound to be lost.”
image

Yeah, that sounds like a great idea. I’m not sure if I’ll get cellphone reception here or not. Hold on- let me check. She took her little phone out- her smart phone was at home- and she lifted it up, squinting at the screen. Yeah, I’m not getting any bars. I think we should fly up…..even though it’s very scary.

"Scary, huh." For some reason, Silver just grew confused.

“Don’t worry, I’ll keep the secret,” she said with a determined face and a very loud voice. She placed her hand around his and tried walking in a random direction. Of course she had no idea where the nearest store was, so she was most likely going in the wrong direction. “Onward to the store!”

"Um, I think it's the other way around..."

The child put her arms up, wanting to be held. “Can I have some coffee? I wanna try some coffee?” That would be a very bad idea. Dana was very easily hopped up on sugar.  “I had tea once. It is bitter water. Right?” She directed this last question to the Weavile whom she assumed had tasted tea before.

“How ‘bout some hot chocolate instead?” He suddenly seemed displeased. “Both of them are bitter.”

Image

“…” Though, he didn’t like sugar all that much, so he decided not to say anything. Weavile smiled. Nodding. Of course tea is bitter water.

It finished the beans.

“I like hot chocolate. It’s great to drink…but not in Alola. It’s always hot over here. So I just get even more hot when I drink the hot chocolate. So I like cold drinks. Like soda. Do you like soda?” Dana was a huge fan of soda, but her mother often limited her soda consumption in an attempt to make the child healthier. Dana of course didn’t like this. “Mama never lets me drink a lot of it. It’s not fair.”

"Tell you what, I'll get you and I a soda. I'll keep Weavile out a bit longer, and stay for the rest of the day."

Image

"We'll keep this as our little secret." He just doesn't like sweets, but any drink sounds good at the moment. He wants to get it over with, but at the same time, just wants company. There definitely was a bright side to this, after all.
