hi friends. i am alive and well, but i’m thinking about making a new account so i can start fresh because it’s been a while since i’ve been on here. i’d be willing to continue any old threads i have laying around if anybody is interested and will probably carry over most of my muses aside from the ones that i don’t use much. i’ll probably post my new link within the next couple of days.

i’m really tired & overwhelmed with my life but i’m going to try my best to power through some replies today because leaving them stacked just makes it worse. so, if you’ve been waiting on a reply for a while, please let me know. i’ve been in & out so much lately that there’s a good possibility i haven’t even seen it & i don’t want anybody to feel like i left them hanging.

    kai knows exactly what to say to get a reaction, and just by looking her, he could see that he was getting to her, which was what he was going for. he didn’t even give a fuck about his girlfriend at this point, just wanting to see how much he could push his ex. struggling to keep the smirk off his face, he ran his hand over it, trying to remove it, but it was fucking impossible with how she was looking at him. “i don’t want anything, i’m just here to have a good time,” he admitted with a shrug of his shoulders, quirking an eyebrow at her. kai was sort of surprised that she hadn’t brought anyone with her, knowing how pissed off it would make him, and that was always something she seemed to like doing when they were together. “i don’t think you can stand and be an asshole, you have to say shit to be one, but just wanted to see how you been, something wrong with that?”

     she's gripping her champagne flute so tightly that it's threatening to shatter inside of her palm. her jaw is set & her body is tensed & more than anything in the world, she wishes she could just disappear right now. his smirk is taunting her with each passing second & she has to advert her eyes from his face because it's making her blood boil & she's not about to lose her cool in front of all of these people. drawing in a deep breath, riley exhales in an irritated sigh, bringing her glass to her lips so she can down its contents as his girlfriend breaks away from them to gather with some friends. she watches her until she's no longer within her line of vision before turning her attention back towards kai & forcing an unfazed expression onto her face. "just a tip: if you want to actually keep a girl for once, don’t introduce her to your ex on the first date.” she tosses her hair over her shoulder before continuing. “she's a real piece of work, though. where'd you meet her ? her high school graduation ? " she mutters, trying to mask the hints of jealousy scattered throughout her words. "look, we both know you don't care about how i've been OR what i've been up to, so just spare me the small talk, okay ? i know you're just trying to get to me & the jokes on you because i don't care."

there was a girl and then there wasn’t a girl and  instead there was this hollow point like you had turned into a bullet, like she’d made your blood into ash. there was a girl and suddenly there was a  vacuum and maybe you can’t feel the skin on your palms  and maybe you wish you could call her but you won’t because  she deserves better than you are.   there was a girl and now there’s not and  you’re no longer sure what became of your heart.
