HE WAS A beauty - a shimmering gemstone upon the bleak landscape. Where the wizard found himself was a war zone, and he was sincerely uncomfortable with that revelation; had he not attempted to flee his own war? From one to another - he feared death, he feared discovery - though through his fear and injury from fleeing was he ruthless with his magic. FINALLY SITTING, UPSET over his throbbing feet, over his bitter injuries, over his uncomfortable person, Howl allowed himself a moment to recollect his thoughts. THIS PLACE WAS not the kind he wished to suddenly fall into, and with how weak he now was from the transportation of his person he didn’t have the strength to try anywhere new. WITHIN THE BREEZE did his blonde hair tousle, the gemstones of which hung from his ears clinking together, bright blue eyes scanning horizons until they met the being of a man - or what he presumed to be a man - and instantly he was torn between fleeing or standing.

Breakfast, she thinks, is the best part of the day– calm, peaceful, serene. No horrible little MT soldiers intruding upon her solitude (most of the time, anyway), the Empire willing to allow her at least a few scant hours of peace in the mornings.
So, when someone knocks on her window, Luna drops her bagel, spread-side down, and only has a second to mourn its loss as it sticks to the rich carpet before her attention snaps back to an incredibly unexpected guest.
He doesn’t look Imperial, just a little ruffled around the edges, and as far as she can tell, they’ve yet to learn the secrets of warping, so unless he was air-lifted and dropped…
How did he get out there?
To her feet she goes, moving toward the doors, fingers quick on the lock.
“–May I help you?”

HOWL WAS RATHER relieved to be greeted by someone of whom chose words over weapons. Having been tracked and followed for so long, it was bizarre for the wizard to have a moment or two peace - away from the sorceress, away from the Witch of the Waste. He had managed to flee exceptionally far away and he wondered if they would ever find his person. Optimism. “My apologies, my lady-” He chimed, allowing his blonde hair to pool around his shoulders, shimmering jewels of which hung from his ears gently clinking together as all was tousled within the  softened breeze. “I seem to have... arrived unexpectedly - and in the wrong place.”

THERE WERE VERY few of whom knew where the wizard resided; even more so now that the city appeared to be crumbling around every corner to the hideousness in which paced the streets searching for victims. He’d been there only months prior to the apparent invasion and his willingness to stay despite the demonic wanderings was based entirely on the fact he was HUGELY frightened of heading outdoors. So he stayed, within the strong protective spells of his apartment, studying demonic scripts and things of that dark ilk in an attempt to understand more. HOWL HAD OFFERED his arcane knowledge to a number of supposed misfits once or twice but he had doubts that they still remained within the city; so when a knock came to his door, glassy eyes turned sceptically toward it. SLOWLY, HE ROSE up from his comfortable seat and cast his hair over one shoulder as he moved, glancing through the spy hole to witness a male; who was he and why was he here? Curiosity killed the cat; Howl opened the door with a quizzical expression upon his features though the dazzling smile he offered countered it immediately; “Can I help you, handsome?”

FLEEING WAS NEVER easy, no matter how one looked at it. Emotional disconnections, for most, would be the hardest but Howl lacked anything of such - what posed the HARDEST for him was the physicality of fleeing. He had hidden himself in every corner of Ingary and nowhere was left; so he had left. THE SPELL OF which he had made hastily to rip himself from that world and insert himself into another was unstable but desperation fuelled the wizard and thus his escape was made. His studies regarding inter-realm magic and travel was in its infancy, but he had been met with no choice. WHEN EYES OPENED, Howl found himself stood upon a rather gracious balcony. Furrowed brows annotated his surprised nature, his person feeling drained and dizzy; in the least, he had escaped! But to where?  GLASSY EYES SCANNED the scenery before him, and then turned to the building; lithe fingers daring to rap upon a window to gain attention - and perhaps some help.

He didn’t flinch at the display of magic, though his eyes lingered a little upon the blond man. How curious - no wonder why the man did not leave the city. Lips formed a bit of a half smile. “Well, it seems like you are not quite defenceless, so pardon my mistake.” A magician… it has been quite a while since V had come across those that wielded magic - but then again, it has been quite a while since he had been in the human realm.
V turned back to the carnage of Red Grave City. “Hero? Not quite; I am simply a man, trying to ensure that as many people as possible leave this city, before more destruction happens.” His gaze turned upwards, towards the horizon. “This is only the beginning, I believe; much more lives are at stake if they remain here. And blood feeds and powers whatever is causing this wreckage; my actions simply hit two birds with a single stone.”

SUCH A CURIOSITY was the male in his company - the way he spoke so refined and stoic, the way he posed himself so certain. Oh yes, he was a curiosity in the least and an enigma at most and Howl was utterly attracted to that. Who wouldn’t be? And to think - he hadn’t even begun thinking about his looks - ooh - an attractive fellow. NOT DEFENCELESS - IF only the fellow knew. Howl was endlessly powerful and wise given his age - his abilities known far and wide from where he came from - but he was a COWARD, and it was that in which made him the complete opposite. Howl could defend himself, but he likely wouldn’t - he was unfortunately more likely to cry, run screaming or hide behind another. But that needn’t be said! He’d just received a complement after all. “I would say that was pretty heroic-” Howl uttered, drawling a hand through his flaxen hair and then twisting the ends between fingers. As for it being only the beginning, Howl’s facial features paled and he felt an utter fear run through his stomach. The urge to run was there, but the curiosity grew further as to the bizarre runes turning up. “So you’re clever as well as handsome, hmm?”

IT HAD GONE wrong. Terribly wrong. A portal summoned in a rush to escape had been the hasty child of DESPERATION and thus doomed to failure. Dangerous had his choice been, uncomfortable to fathom - but there he now was, away from his unwanted suitors and stalkers, upon the ground in a fiercely unknown land. ACHING AND INJURED, the male lifted his head up off of the ground with a grumble and forced himself, with what little energy he had, to sit up. He could FEEL the bruises to his face already, he knew that his hair was out of place and that he may have lost a bracelet - but perhaps far more importantly - he was in the middle of the wilderness. A DEEP BREATH was drawn, shaking, dainty hands raising up toward his face where he checked for any more fierce injuries, but he could find no other, other than the cuts and bruises strewn across his person. A RUSTLE WITHIN the bushes set his anxiety aflame within his chest, a trembling overtaking his entire person. Despite being a fiercely strong and powerful wizard, his cowardice far outweighed it. “Who’s there-” He called, voice uneasy.

GRACE AND COMPOSURE - with utter fluidity did the male walk, each step as if balanced perfectly, his beauteously blue eyes taking in sights and scenery with every movement. Lestallum they had called it - somewhere entirely new for him to see, somewhere he thought far enough away to hide perfectly. WONDERFUL WAS THE wind that picked up his flaxen hair and forced it into billowing around his shoulders; emerald gemstones joining in the fluid movement to glitter and shimmer within the intense sunshine. There was no doubting that Howl was something to behold, in truth. HE PAUSED, HOWEVER, when he came to a point to fully pause and overlook the scenery ahead - rolling landscapes with a giant shard in the middle of it. Curious, in the very least and the wizard found himself contemplating what was before his eyes before noting company near; “So very beautiful, isn’t it?” He smiles, leaning an elbow down unto the wall so to rest his head upon it. Only then did blue eyes turn toward his sudden company, fluttering eyelashes briefly; “...Such a wonderful landscape, hmmm?”
