a new way of intercultural learning for kids on different continents we motivate kids to describe their everyday life in their own ways with drawings, fotos, videos, etc. then they will be posted on www.braintribe.org. the more kids do this the better will be the understanding of different lifestyles and surroundings, thus raising awareness for local cultures, similarities and differences.

our soccer tournament at bacherpark, 1050 vienna, was a great success. 5 teams battled it out. 3 teams with various pupils from 2 schools, and 2 teams with kosovarian kids from various viennese schools. the kosovarian team (the blue one) finally one. great fun and a good statement for intercultural relationships on a sunny afternoon.

braintribe.org     a new project promoting the concept of intercultural learning for kids on different continents

Mankinds future hinges on our ability to teach our children – tomorrows leaders – to look beyond their borders and to lay the foundation for increased cooperation among nations. In the 21st century and beyond cultural exchange and exposure at an early age is and will be crucial in helping us to achieve this goal. Therefore the first project is abouteducation and intercultural learning for kids. Its focus lies on the different day to day life of primary schoolkids on different continents. The goal is to raise awareness of cultural differences and to empower mutual respect in order to create long lasting relationsships first on a virtual scale through social media and in the end through actual meeting in exchange in the kids own surroundings.  The first phase of the project is naturally situated in places, where Braintribe already operates, namely Vienna (headoffice) and Sao Paulo (braintribe-dependance).

Kids will be invited to describe their day to day life through whichever medium they choose (fotos, drawings, videos, etc.)

For later stages new countries will be participating to make the range of the project broader and the learning effect more sustainable.
