What do you guys think Remus skirt is gonna be??

I can see it one of two ways. Either Thomas is gonna be way outta his comfort zone and be slutty as hell, or Remus is gonna have an evil witchy kinda ball gown like Roman’s

What about both?

In which Virgil has taken lessons on how to demand affection

“Affection.” Virgil said, holding his arms out and biting down on his lip, his vision going a bit blurry as the many ways he could be rejected swarmed through his mind one after the other. Especially with such a dumb way of asking, he could have at least made it an actual request, but he’d just barely managed to force it out at all and—

“Aww, kiddo, of course!” Patton said gently, hugging Virgil tightly and rocking the two of them back and forth.

Virgil sagged into the hug, hiding his face in Patton’s shoulder. “Was that ok?”

Patton squeezed him for a moment. “It was great, kiddo. I’m always open to give you hugs.”

Virgil squeezed Patton back. “Thanks.”

“Um…” it was harder this time. Logan wasn’t even looking at him, buttering and spreading jelly on his toast. If Virgil wasn’t fast Logan would finish and walk away. “Affection?”

“I’m sorry, were you addressing me?” Logan asked, turning to give Virgil his attention.

Virgil nodded silently.

“What was it you said? I wasn’t paying enough attention to hear it.”

Darn, he had to do it again. Virgil held out his arms slightly, trying to push past the freezing-up feeling overwhelming him. “Affection,” he managed to squeak out.

Logan blinked. “I see.” He reached out and set a hand on Virgil’s head, ruffling his hair slowly. “I do indeed think of you affectionately, though it is often difficult for me to express.”

A smile tugged at Virgil’s mouth, surprising warmth blooming in his chest. “Thanks, L.”

He had to catch Roman’s attention, Roman was flitting from activity to activity, his attention scattered and whirling.

He was going to have to yell. Or not yell, that sounded harsh. But speak loudly.

“Roman!”

Roman spun around, looking startled. Ugh, why did Virgil have such a knack for screwing things up even before they started? His “ah, affection, please,” was much quieter and more hesitant.

But Roman grinned, his face lighting up, and he grabbed both of Virgil’s hands, spinning them both in a circle. “Do you want to see what I’ve been working on?” He asked excitedly.

Virgil grinned back, swept up in Roman’s exuberance. “Absolutely.”

Now Remus was a lot easier. He was very open, and would just as cheerfully reject Virgil’s request as he would accept it. Even if his answer was no, Virgil didn’t really have anything to fear.

Virgil opened his arms. “Remus, affection!”

Remus practically tackled him, wrapping him with both his arms and his tentacles in a bear hug. “Haven’t seen you in ages, Stormy!”

A happy laugh bubbled up in Virgil’s chest. “I missed this.”

Virgil felt very small and hesitant. After all the hurt between them, did he really dare ask?

But after how nice it was with Remus… he’d been missing Janus a lot more intensely.

Virgil knocked on the door softly.

When Janus opened the door, he didn’t say anything. His expression was completely neutral, other than a little surprise.

Virgil shifted back and forth. “A-affection?” He said, his voice coming out in a stuttering half-whisper. He couldn’t meet Janus’s eyes.

Two hands took hold of his, and two more cupped his face, gently tipping it up to look at Janus. His eyes had gone all soft, though his face was still mostly neutral. He leaned in and pressed a short kiss to Virgil’s forehead.

Virgil’s chin wobbled, and he pushed forward, grabbing Janus in a hug. After a moment, six arms wrapped around him, holding him tight.

Virgil felt most awkward this time. Janus had been harder, but this felt more awkward and strange. His previous successes though helped him feel more confident that he at least wouldn’t be rejected harshly.

He rose up in Thomas’s living room.

“Oh hey, Virge! What’s up?” Thomas was watching something, but paused it to give Virgil his attention.

“I… I wanted… affection.”

Thomas looked like he was restraining himself from cooing, which Virgil appreciated. “Sure thing! Come sit here.” He patted the couch next to him.

Virgil still felt awkward, but came and sat down next to him. Thomas slung an arm around his shoulders, pulling him flush with his side. “Wanna watch with me? We can keep watching this or you can pick something.”

Virgil grinned crookedly, relaxing somewhat against Thomas. “Yeah, that sounds nice.”

Based off of Thomas’s most recent post! I loved the safety pin necklace and graphic on the shirt (which I definitely butchered in the drawing lol). I gave him Vans instead of sneakers because I drew him in sneakers in my last post and that took so much mental effort and so I went the lazy route. 💜🖤

I swear to god, stop using the word "host" when referring to Character!Thomas. It makes it sound like a DID system. Instead, use something like "whole" or anything along those lines. Stop using "personalities" when referring to the sides. Again, it sends the wrong message and makes it sound like Thomas has DID. Instead use "aspects of his personality" or just "sides".

This is a mistake that is actively harming the fandom. It's a big reason why so many people are convinced Sanders Sides is making fun of DID. It's not a good look. Not only that, but it's just inaccurate as hell. Please just stop doing that.

High School AU Number Whatever:

  • So Roman and Remus aren't just popular, they're famous.
  • Sons to a very rich and influential family, they get to do whatever they wish and have whatever they want, and in return they just have to stay out of trouble and make sure the family name always looks flawless.
  • Unfortunately, they both mess up in this department one day, and their parents decide that instead of their private tutors giving them only the highest level education, the twins will now have to go to a school. As punishment.
  • Too bad that's what they wanted to do in the first place and they're not at all upset about this. But their parents don't need to know that!
  • So they get to school and a few people recognize them, but a lot of people flock to them regardless, because it doesn't matter if they know they're famous, they're hot and rich, and for some reason that seems to make anyone popular in highschool.
  • At any case, the twins quickly make their first friend each.
  • Roman befriends Patton in lit class, where he wows everyone with his advanced knowledge on the work and his dramatic reading of it. Patton is impressed and amused and invites him over to his house after school that day. Roman eagerly accepts, being very excited to finally have a real friend his age.
  • Later that week, Patton takes Roman to the field where the various sports events are held, to see the cheerleaders practice.
  • At first, Roman is worried his new friend brought him here to look at girls dance around in cute outfits, which he wasn't opposed to but he had the preconceived notion that it was for a purpose that was of very little interest to him, for several reasons.
  • But then, he saw his new friend join the cheer squad at the end of the routine, being encouraging and supportive but also giving criticism and tips to improve the routine. He sounded like he really knew what he was talking about.
  • He then took off his hoodie and sweatpants to reveal his own cheer uniform underneath, and told the girls to take it from the top.
  • The amount of excitement, mixed with some gay panic that Roman was feeling in that moment was unparalleled.
  • Meanwhile, Remus skips his classes to go look around the school and see if there's anything interesting. He eventually winds up in the parking lot where he checks out all the cars, wondering which one he should vandalize, when a motorbike comes speeding in. When it stops, the person riding it takes their helmet off, to reveal their sick piercings and cool hair.
  • Remus freaks the fuck out. (And also has a little bit of a gay panic moment). having only seen people like that in corny teen movies, he is immediately mesmerized by this guy and is so excited to hang out with him.
  • The guy introduces himself as J, and while he isn't exactly the type to make friends, Remus's immediate desire to cause problems on purpose makes him be a little more open to the idea.
  • Later that week, they would actually go to class for once, to just to see how quickly they can make each teacher kick them out.
  • In lit class, Remus couldn't help but notice J making eyes at his brother's new friend, who seemed to be delibaretly ignoring the punk.
  • Remus made a mental note of this. He'll probably ask J about it later, but if he fails to get a good enough answer, he might actually bring it up to his brother.
  • After a while it becomes clear where each of the twins fit in the social dynamics of the school. They're exactly who they always wanted to be and they have real friends who accept them as they are.
  • Enter Logan and Virgil.
  • Logan is Patton's twin brother, their dad is the school counselor and despite being very different levels of popular, they run in the same circles and maintain a healthy sibling relationship despite the narrative that pits the cool kids against the nerds.
  • The kind of people neither of them really get along with are troublemakers with no respect for the rules or other people's feelings.
  • Unfortunately, it's exactly this kind of person that Patton has had a crush on for a while now, and Logan was always quick to tease him for it, saying that love is a ridiculous emotion and that he'll never fall victim to it.
  • Even more unfortunately, the new major nuisance of school, Remus Castillo, has set his sights on the stubborn nerd.
  • At first, Remus was just trying to annoy him, but with his completely deadpan tone when dealing with Remus and his bullshit, the way he's entirely unbotherd by some of the gross, weird and disturbing stuff he says and does, and how he always finds a way to shut him up?
  • Remus didn't think he'd ever be in love, didn't think love existed really, but fuck, there it is.
  • On Loga's end, he didn't mind Remus too much, but he'd be damned if he ever let the punk see that he got a reaction out of him. One time, Remus gave him a corny valentine's day card that he made himself, but the shape of it was a perfect, anatomically correct heart.
  • And Logan had to stand there and be like "it's not even February." While on the inside he was freaking out because it was probably the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for him.
  • But when Remus found a plain looking card in his locker that was decorated on the inside with the shapes of various chemicals that just said "thank you." -LP, he was on cloud nine for the rest of the week.
  • And so, the world's weirdest courtship begins!
  • Meanwhile, Roman tries out for the school play, gets the lead, and immediately gets into fights with one of the techies every other week. Normally, it's not a specific techie, usually because he doesn't bother learning any of their names, but eventually the most brooding and easily the quietest guy in the tech crew calls him out on his shit.
  • "what is your fucking problem man? Did mommy and daddy not give you enough attention as a child? You already have the leading role, now could you please pull you head out of your ass for five minutes and let us do our job?"
  • Roman is absolutely gob smacked, he can barely make an audible sound as he tries to say okay, so he just nods his head yes.
  • At the end of rehearsals, Roman approaches the techie, who seems like he's expecting to get his ass kicked. Roman tries not to take it personally, and he apologizes for his behaviour.
  • "you were right. I was way too caught up in my own head and didn't notice at all how i was treating everyone. This is all pretty new to me, going to school, being in a play, interacting with normal teenagers. But none of that is an excuse to be as asshole, so, thank you for calling me out."
  • The techie, Virgil as he will later tell Roman, is caught pretty off guard by this. He didn't expect Roman to be so... Cool. And not like popular cool, genuinely cool, like a good chill person cool.
  • He smiles slightly. "No problem dude, anytime." His smile then turns into a smirk "in fact, it would be my pleasure to call you out whenever you're being an ass from now on. How's that sound?" He asks, extending his hand for a shake as if sealing a deal.
  • Roman has to try his hardest not to melt. This guy is absolutely gorgeous and it's like he doesn't even know! That smirk alone should be considered a weapon.
  • "that sounds lovely, Virgil. I look forward to working with you, the right way this time." He shakes his hand and takes pride in the blush on his face. Roman knows his own strength and his handshake is gentle and firm, as he lets his thumb rub over the back of Virgil's hand for just a second.
  • And from that point on, the emo and prep could be seen bickering and bantering at every possible moment, and they were so obvious around each other that half the school had a betting pool on when they would get together.
