i’m making a new version of this post, considering i remade my blog & much has gone down since.

my name is yosa. i’m a queer, trans, mentally ill & somewhat disabled japanese / white person trying to support my jobless & ailed mother & myself currently.

to give backstory again, my mother lost her job in late may, due to a nerve in her spine worsening her mobility. she previously worked as a waitress, & the mobility in her arms drastically declined, either making her unable to move, or putting her in extreme pain. within the last couple of weeks, we found out she has moderate acute cholecystitis, & teeth / gum decay now spreading to her heart & giving her palpitations. she has insurance to cover the operations for these, but will be out of commission to recover for almost a year, though she is considering retiring altogether. she was doing an odd job being a marijuana harvester, but left on account of her upcoming operations, & her relationship with her employer going south.

sadly, because her conditions are treatable via surgery & are soon to be treated, we were denied disability & welfare. we were denied EBT as well for reasons unknown, though we assume it’s because i’m a legal adult, & we have stable housing.

i was briefly doing sex work for a livelihood, as no places i applied to even considered me, but had to abandon that job after things went sour with somebody. i have continued job hunting, though i deal with narcolepsy, chronic iron deficiency anemia, & pre-existing osteoporosis, though receiving treatment for the latter as it’s benign. i also struggle with being very mentally ill, so finding a job to cater to my needs & spoons is tough, but i’m staying vigilant !

to help my mom out, i am taking both donations & tarot / pendulum commissions. even a dollar will help us immensely, & i will do a reading for you no matter what you donate, just message me after you do !
