and we are back!

so I have spent the past couple of months not working on my indie game! i’ve actually added quite a bit of shit but I never know what to show? pictured here I have Leech Beach! wow! green sand and pink water?? maybe! I also added in a claw machine where you can win fun prizes (not pictured) and a screaming guy on a 2 frame animation cycle! wow!!!

i’m going to put out a demo whenever I finish the second area. so far most of my time has been spent refining the first two which has taken a long as shit time because I keep adding nonsense. more updates soon, hopefully.

a cast of colorful curmudgeons! 

i do not know what curmudgeon means so what’s going on? what’s happening with leech beach? so far the goal is to finish the first two areas by the end of this month (may). this screenshot is a picture of the third area, so i suppose you could say i’m getting ahead of myself. the tileset for this areas is actually just a placeholder at the moment, it’s from a game I was making before i started working on LB but the perspective is what I’m going for so it’s going to look like... this... for a while. 

in fact, the only thing in this picture that’s even remotely related to area 1 or area 2 is the little star man, who is supposed to be in area 2 with his fellow goons. what is he doing here? slacking off, it looks like. get back to work!!

next time i’ll try and post something a little spicier. these past 2 screenshots have been pretty boring, but i’ll make more of an effort to knock your socks off.

welcome to leech beach!

howdy! my first post! i’m very excited. 

i’m the “developer” for Leech Beach, a free role playing game made with rpg maker 2003. i’ve always been a huge fan of rpg maker games and decided to give making my own a shot! (plus, i love technological limitations and artificially large file sizes.)

i’ll try and update when i have something to show. no idea when it’s going to be finished. in fact, no idea when it’s even going to be in a state to play at all. despite these limitations, i’ve provided a link to the first demo in my bio. it’s on mediafire which is sus as fuck but i promise the only thing in that .zip is my low quality bitmap art. give it a shot if you have a couple minutes to spare!
