Summary:

"The kitchen counter glowed in the yellow light of the morning. The sun rose above the mountains east of the caravan, casting a soft glow through the rusted windows facing the dripping faucet. The countertops were once a beautiful maple, Will said so, but Tommy’s only seen the baby-food-stained, cracking, cluttered counter that now resides within the cramped kitchenette.
