I got your messages. They are much appreciated. Unfortunately, I don’t function well enough right now to get back to you. I will eventually. Once I’m not neck-deep in grief. Despite everyone’s best efforts, my family has suffered two horrible losses back to back and I’ve lost two of the most important people in my life. Currently fighting tooth and nail not to lose another. Please be patient with me while I figure all this out. I will be back.

Thank you for caring. I’m okay. Hanging in there at the moment. My family is in crisis mode, several family members with health issues, and I’m managing the chaos. Unfortunately, that leaves me with very little energy and time to focus on the nice things in life - like creative writing. I will get back to it as soon as I can, though (because I miss writing and I like sharing my writing with you).

the problem with reading and writing leading to a strong vocabulary is that you tend to know the vibe of words instead of their meanings.
if I used this word in a sentence, would it make sense? absolutely. if you asked me what it meant, could I tell you? absolutely not.
