i've noticed that people don't leave the same kind of unhinged compliments under fanfics that visual artists usually receive (eg, "i want to eat your art"), so i've come up with a list that you need to start employing when your friends send you their WIPs and when your favorites update on ao3 but you're having a hard time commenting something that sounds intelligent and you still want to support them

Made some Toyhouse icons for some Gallecross characters including the boys of course but also including some side characters!

Jazakhza (manticore), Alkimos (sphinx), Governor Vivian Trevill (faun), Mayor Lyniara Heqeta (swanmaiden/siren), and Wither (serpentfolk) & Boon (ogrefolk).

The cross-shaped pupils indicate that someone can use magic either thanks to being trained (black pupils) or having it innate from birth (colored pupils).

I'm the "voting is good" guy but I intend to direct basically all of my you-should-vote energy next year towards the reelection of the 18 progressives who've stuck their necks out to call for an Israeli-Palestinian ceasefire. But you know the first thing that would happen if legislation like this ever passed (which it wouldn't because lawmakers are rich too), is the CEOs would just accelerate on redefining what an 'employee' is. They'd lobby to change who the rules apply to. Suddenly more and more jobs would be restructured into contract work, the gig economy would be expanded out to the horizon, and eventually the word 'employee' becomes synonymous with 'board member'. And while they're working all that out, the CEO says, 'ok, fine, my paycheck is $624,000 now' and then just funnels the rest of the money they'd normally get to themselves through other means. Like they already do all the time.
