“You okay?” Tara asked, sitting down next to Y/n, who was sitting in the corner of the clubhouse, sipping her drink.
“Just peachy,” Y/n mumbled, forcing a fake smile on her lips. But Tara wasn’t stupid, she saw through her fake happiness; she followed Y/ns eyes, and saw the reason for her unhappiness. Y/n's eyes were locked on the crow eater who was standing next to her boyfriend, Happy Lowman, eyeing him up and down as if he were her prey. This particular crow eater, Liv, was the one that Happy had slept with the most prior to them becoming a couple.
She couldn’t help the memories that flooded through her head, the countless mornings she’d seen Liv, leaving the clubhouse, her makeup smudged across her face, her hair a mess and her clothes torn, all thanks to Happy. The parties, just like this one, where they’d sneak off outside together...
Y/n trusted Happy more than anyone, she knew that he would never cheat on her. But that didn’t ease the burning jealousy that was engulfing her as she stared at Liv, who was looking at Happy with her bedroom eyes. A small amount of relief washed over her as he brushed Liv off, moving slightly so he could join in with the other Sons conversation. But it still took everything in Y/n to not march over to Liv and drag her out of the clubhouse by her hair.
“She’s not worth it,” Tara whispered to Y/n, grabbing her hand reassuringly. She knew Tara was right and the last thing she wanted to do was ruin this party. She knew how much the club needed something like this. Something happy.
A few moments passed before Happy began to make his way back over to the table Y/n was sitting at. Just before he reached the table, Tara gave her hand a reassuring squeeze before leaving the table.
Happys eyes scanned Y/n, instantly knowing that something was wrong. The look in her eyes was something he hadn’t seen on her before; but he couldn’t help that that look turned him on a little. She was jealous.
