“an hour and a half of a movie was not enough to suffice for that entire boat trip! i didn’t board the boat and immediately decide i was going to watch a movie. you better bet that for at least the first ten minutes i was a window watcher. i am well aware of what i would have missed out on.”

chuckling lightly, chas nodded his head in understanding. “okay, as long as you spent some of your time enjoying the view, then i guess it’s okay.” chas knew his sense of humor was hard to read sometimes and he really hope this wasn’t one of those times.

&.* EVER SINCE THE blonde adonis had appeared on the beach, adele had her eyes glued on him – from behind her sunglasses, of course, she was subtle after all. when he finally walked over to her to plop down on the chair beside her, the brunette pushed her glasses slightly down before turning her head to face the guy, a smile shot his way. “ well, well, that makes two of us then. “ she replied, only to grab his hand to shake his softly. “ adele. it’s my pleasure. “.

hopping off the boat into a new home is overwhelming to say the least. even asher, who is usually adaptable and finds fun in having a new adventure feels a little uneasy. he runs his head through his hair as he looks around. “so are there any clubs or bars in this place or what?” asher asks, because if there was one place that he feels at home, it was there.

&.* “ YOU KNOW… “, ADELE started as she plopped down on one of the beach chairs, her eyes looking over the ocean in awe. “ i can definitely get used to this place. the great weather, the beautiful ocean, the beach… i love it. is it possible to fall in love with a place ? because i think i am. “ addy said as she chuckled. 

as soon as chas got his things to his room, he quickly threw on his swim trunks and headed down to the beach. the moment he sat down in one of the beach chairs, he knew this was where he’d spend the majority of his free time. tearing his eyes away from the spectacular view, his eyes landed on a woman who’d sat in the chair beside him. “it is definitely possible because i’m pretty sure i’m in love with this place.” flashing a kind smile, chas reached a hand out for the woman to shake. “i’m chas.”

◤✦ ° caleb lifted his hand up, shading his eyes and trying his best to feel hopeful about this new start in the life. the sun felt nice and warm on his skin, but time would tell if he would get bored of it. ❝ I don’t think I’ve been anywhere this warm in my life. ❞ caleb ran a hand through his hair, which was a bit sweaty from the heat. ❝ what about yourself? ❞

slipping his sunglasses onto his face, chas glanced at the other, chuckling at their obvious discomfort to the extreme heat. “well, i’ve been places much hotter than this, but that doesn't mean im used to it.” chas could feel the heat from the sun beating down on him and a bit of sweat beginning to gather at his brow. of course this place was much warmer than back home, but it wasn’t hardly as humid.

“i was watching the incredibles on my phone on the way here. i forgot how much i love that movie. it really never gets old. i almost forgot i was coming here. i do have to admit, this is much better than watching incredibles on a boat though. it’s absolutely gorgeous here. i didn’t expect it to look like something out of a dream.”

“not to knock the incredibles because it really is a great movie, but you really spent that entire boat ride staring at your phone? that’s a shame. you really missed out on some kick ass scenery.”

“it’s good to be here finally. that boat was making me seasick. maybe it’s because i was so worried just thinking about the fresh start i can now have away from everything,” the male sighed, undertones of relief pushing through his breath, as he begun to take in the heated climate combined with the scent of the fresh sea breeze. 

glancing over to the other, chas shrugged his shoulders before gazing back out to the beautiful scenery. “i don’t know. i found the boat ride extremely relaxing. i mean, i’m glad to be docked now, but there is something about floating in the middle of the ocean that i find peaceful.”
