Did you know we're doing multiple iconic looks for some of the characters in our zine? This particular piece is done by @anaquariusfox & is someone that we all know and love - but which incarnation is it, exactly? Tell us what you think in the poll below!

Aziraphale, after taking the offer of becoming the new Supreme Archangel of Heaven, is well underway in molding things to fit his own agenda; however, interaction with the newly appointed Duke of Hell sits uneasily with him and digs up memories of the angel he once was. The matter of a truce between Heaven and Hell weighs heavily on the both of them, but their prior relationship proves to make this agreement more difficult than originally thought.

This is a companion piece to @jvmesart and his Corrupt Supreme Archangel Aziraphale and Duke of Hell Crowley au! Take a peek, leave a kudos, lemme know what you think as we kick off!

my finalised(?) supreme archangel aziraphale. everything is intentional.

all the following are my head canons:

angel marks are usually markings of beauty and divinity. for him they’re reminders that heaven /knows/ his sins and short comings.

the ones around his mouth for his gluttony, the ones around his eyes for tears shed over a demon. the lapels of his his suit have six points for six wings of the archangels. the colour palette is monochromatic on the outside and gets more colourful and closer to his normal palette the closer to his heart/chest it gets.

the cravat pin is a tiny snake head, keeping crowley close to his heart always. the pins and chains are regalia courtesy of heaven, meant to remind him of his betrayal of crowley. the chain quite literally is made to keep him in place and remind him that no matter his position /he’s/ stuck.
