In the little apartment, away above the bustling street, it’s quiet. Except for the near silent chatter of the glowing television and Spencer’s deep snores. Pairing: Spencer Reid x gn!Reader Includes: Brief use of curse words Category: Fluff (1.5k words) A/N: Extra special shoutout to @spencerslibrary for sending me prompts last night and singlehandedly breaking my months long writer’s block.  All prompts used are bolded- i’m a bit rusty, but i hope you guys like this one!

On a scale of one to a hundred, the woman working the counter at Yarn and Co. was a hundred percent positive that the fate of a future relationship lied in her hands.

 And apparently, said future was entirely dependent on the color yarn she swayed her customer to buy.

“Do you think a burnt orange would be good for a scarf?  Or would it be too bright for the winter months?” Spencer looked up, watching as Lizzie, his favorite employee at Yarn and Co., nodded her head and moved to grab the requested color.

“Wait, no! Burnt orange is typically associated with aggression and selfishness, I don’t want them to think that I hate them when I’m trying to tell them that I-” His words cut off abruptly, cheeks going red and gaze drifting to the floor.

And in the split second of silence, Lizzie knew she had her in.

literally have screenshots in my drafts from @reidingmelodies because her comments on Champagne Problems touched me so much. shoutout to u, homie, cause sometimes when i get writers block i go back and look at these to get motivated.

comments on fics, however detailed, are so important to writers, yall!! even when i just see “loved this!” on a fic, it really makes me so happy that i know you enjoyed whatever you’d read. those of y’all that do that consistently or those that have ever even tried to: thank you so much. the literal reason i keep writing for other people <3
