So my guess is that they’ll either hire a different actor for the role of Sidney, or try to set Charlotte up with a completely different romantic interest. Austin, in the little she managed to write of the novel, did make it clear that Charlotte is the female protagonist, but who out of the introduced characters is her romantic interest was left unclear. Maybe, they’ll attempt to do something with that.

Now that Sanditon has been renewed, the creators better not add a million sex scenes to make it similar to Bridgerton and ruin the entire feel of the show by it.

Finding out sanditon is renewed after two years of resignation to the idea of Charlotte and Sidney would never get together is basically like finding £100 in a winter coat you had put away last year. Best feeling ever.
