I have been silent on here for quite some time, mostly due in part to real life and other interests and even then — my muse for writing here has been all but dead and while this blog does hold sentimental value to me, as I have met many a great friends during my more active days — I think it’s time for me to say farewell and officially retire this blog.

I had a good run with Light, I had so much fun exploring and expanding on his character that so many people have come to appreciate him just because of their interactions with me that it filled me with immense joy and love. But all good things must come to an end.

So I want to thank you again to all those here and gone for making my time here wonderful — I shall remember you all fondly 💕

Had Light missed her call by just a mere five more seconds, chances are she would have collided with the more uncomfortable and sharper parts of his armor -- thankfully ( praise the gods ) twas not the outcome and the Warrior had turned around just in time to open his arms and catch the petite woman, the force of her embrace nearly knocked the seasoned knight over but he righted himself by spinning the two of them with the momentum of their collision--- which all the more added a sprinkle of levity to this already joyous reunion between lovers.

Light's gentle laugh melded sweetly with Eva's cry of elation and he took this moment to hold her tight, tomake sure that this was turly real , that he had her back in his arms once more -- but what brought the foreign sting of tears to the corners of his eyes was not the embrace -- it was the fact that he had indeed been missed...

He didn't think he was a man worth missing , even to one such as lovely as Eva and yet --

Well, that wasn't for her to know nor for him to dwell on --

For now, Light shall allow himself to bask in the warmth of Eva's love --

" Beloved~" Light gives as his greeting , his chuckle giving way to a soft hum as he placed Eva back down to Earth but by no means released her from his hold -- one could even say he held onto her just a little tighter.

" I've missed you ~ "

The Warrior can only offer his good friend a tired but small, and genuine smile -- for such a loaded question can only be met with only the honest of truths...Noctis deserved at least that much.

" I have been here and there my friend...and I cannot say for certain if I shall remain here for long but..." the silver haired man's smile turns just a bit more brighter, the light in his eyes more shinier, like the world weariness that had been present had melted away-- if only for such a moment, or for his friend's sake, one cannot be sure--but he continues nonetheless --

" But I have missed you and I am glad to see that you are doing well..."

He thought nothing of it when Terra had initially reached out to take the Warrior’s hand in her own, his gloved one nearly swallowing her’s in comparison but it seemed the safety of the hold brought about a sense of comfort to the esper, so he let it be--his mind rationalized it as a way to not get separated, the cave they were exploring was rather dark but there was no monster nor manikins to worry about. 

He thought nothing of it again once they made it back outside, the knight raising his free hand to shield his eyes from the blinding sunlight and once more it seemed that they were safe for the time being. Terra did not let go of his hand. He thought nothing of it and on their way they went, surely to make time and catch up with the others. 

It wasn’t until some time had passed that it happened. Light became alerted to his arm suddenly moving and not due to his own moving. Looking down towards his companion, the Warrior was met with the sight of Terra, content and sweet Terra, swinging their joined hands together as they strolled--like she simply could not contain her joy and thus had to tow him along in it. The smile on her lips and the brightness of her violet eyes tugged at his heartstrings and the Warrior could do naught but laugh softly at the sight. 

When this drew Terra’s attention and thus her own inquiry if the action brought the stern knight discomfort--Light was quick to reassure her. To emphasize his assurance, the knight lifted her tiny hand and pressed a small kiss to her knuckles, giving the outside view of the knight and his maiden fair. 

“ You may hold on for as long as you need...” he says then, warmth melting the corners of his stern gaze and when it was returned from his dear friend, they carried on their way, hand in hand.
