Before we get further...This blog is 18+ so Minors do NOT interact. This place is not for you. If you are a minor or have a blog that I suspect is a bot, your blog will be blocked. Most of my work has explicit content and I am currently trying to explore darker themes. Check the warnings and triggers to decide if you can handle that content. Things will be tagged appropriately, if you feel a tag needs to be added please let me know so it can be addressed. With that being said...

Welcome to the land of (my)Muse. Each idea produced is either as bright and cheerful as the sun, or as dark as midnight with a new moon. Some ideas that the muse finds interest in are short lived and others the inspiration seems to flow forever. 

To help keep the Muse inspired on an idea you can try to feed it! It’s favorite food is called, feedback. You can leave a comment, reblog, or send an ask anonymously to feed the Muse with what you liked about its work. Feedback may make this fickle beast latch onto the idea. The Muse is often easy to inspire and flexible with ideas. 

Cannon rarely matters in my writing -I prefer to write with Alternate Universes. My top two favorite characters are Bucky and Loki...I use them the most for writing because the Muse loves to use the appearances of Sebastain Stan and Tom Hiddleston. It’s very likely that you will see posts of those actors and tagged “muse fuel” or “for research purposes” or I tagged specific characters and/or fics of mine as well. Feel free to tag me in things with these two actors and see if the Muse is hungry for more inspiration. We can start the tag game that once happened with suggestive or filthy things and tag all that with “this is war” it was fun but Tumblr was not safe to check in public.

Keep the majestic Muse traveling wildly through Tumblr by hitting that reblog button on things you like. Tags on Tumblr are sometimes odd but could help you find things easier on your own blog! That reblog button is a feature on tumblr that will put the post to your dashboard. Reblogs are the only way that the Muse’s creations are able to be seen by others. Likes are appreciated because they are the affection that the Muse loves too, but the Muse loves to run wild. The more people who see the muse, the more likely it will be fed and be energized for more wild inspirations. The muse will not react kindly to those who repost the work it produced -reposting is copying and pasting elsewhere to make your own post. Even if you give credit to me, it is still NOT allowed!

No one is allowed to repost or translate my work. My work is only posted here on tumblr, and on my AO3 brightsun_and_darkmidnight.

AO3 stands for Archive Of Our Own. It is a library for fanfiction and it has a nice feature of being able to bookmark works so you can easily go back to things you once read before or save things for the future. The tagging system is amazing there, and easy to use. Everything the Muse makes me write is posted on my AO3. From now on a link will be shared from AO3, then to here (Tumblr), with the access to the work below the “read more” link/cut so you do not need to leave Tumblr. Each creation will be posted in one of my masterlists that I try to organize the madness and chaos that the Muse leaves for me to gather and organize for all of you lovely followers and those passing through. To keep things as organized as possible, there are two masterlists….

I feel like an extremely minor 616!Bucky moment that really sums up who Bucky is as a character is when he and Natasha are strolling in the rain and he begins to whine about it and she’s like “...seriously? That’s too much for you? You fought Nazis.” and he just straight up says “If I have to compare everything to fighting Nazis, I’ll never get to complain about anything.” and I remember stopping and smiling because that’s it. Bucky hits every trope of the grimdark hero but instead of becoming the grimdark hero he just... complains a lot about inconsequential things in ways that hurt no one. He remains sweet and genuinely upbeat as a rule, he’s just... gonna make sure the world knows when he’s Mildly Inconvenienced. He’s 100% on board with helping you move on a weekend! He’s just gonna complain about random stuff while he does it and he won’t expect you to understand half of what he’s even talking about, he just has a complaining quota to meet, like a psychological fitbit that measures harmless irritation

Explanation: Will the sky be clear enough to see the eclipse? This question is already on the minds of many North Americans hoping to see tomorrow’s solar eclipse. This question was also on the mind of many people attempting to see the total solar eclipse that crossed North America in August 2017. Then, the path of total darkness shot across the mainland of the USA from coast to coast, from Oregon to South Carolina – but, like tomorrow’s event, a partial eclipse occurred above most of North America. Unfortunately, in 2017, many locations saw predominantly clouds. One location that did not was a bank of the Green River Lakes, Wyoming. Intermittent clouds were far enough away to allow the center image of the featured composite sequence to be taken, an image that shows the corona of the Sun extending out past the central dark Moon that blocks our familiar Sun. The surrounding images show the partial phases of the solar eclipse both before and after totality.

I love how anytime I try to sit down and write someone has something for me to do.

#My dad is a workoholic#constantly working on home improvement projects#I always get dragged into things#almost always without warnings#i dont have a job and live with my parents#i get disability payments#living on my own is impossible for many reasons#mostly financially because i have sat down and tried to figue out how to#my parents helped me with numbers but i cant#i pay my parents rent. I do the shopping for the house. I meal plan. I cook the meals. I make sure the dogs are taken care of.#I clean the house. my dad never cleans up after himself if he does its a miracle. I do the laundry for everyone.#i love when my dad goes to work because i feel a sense of freedom because who freaking knows what his massive plans are.#my mom hates when he calls off work too.#but even with my mom working from home...I still get asked to make her coffee and make her lunch.#im expected to jump up and do what they say but god forbid i ask them to look at my car that i need for dr appointments and errands#they complain about the rest of the family asking for hand outs but what do they do when they demand my time#i wish i could get away for a few weekends. I say weekends because i used to stay at other family memebers house and my dad hated me gone#he had to buy all the food because my mom wouldn't cook and he admitted he even got hangry at one point.#i know they need me but i dont think they even comprehend what i do for them.

Just some Astarion vampire headcanons and thoughts I’ve brainstormed with my partner, since dnd vampirism is a little lean on actual lore and rules.

  • Feeding gives him a “blush of life” effect that I’m just stealing shamelessly from vampire the requiem rules. No heartbeat, but he’ll be warmer, flushed and less corpse-like than normal. Can pass for a living person.
  • Needs to feed to get erections. No blood, no boner.
  • Being starved of blood starts shutting down his senses. Taste is always fucked up now because of the vampirism, but without blood his senses of touch, smell, as well as vision and hearing, are all heavily impacted. This was deliberate by Cazador to keep him weakened.
  • When he says most of his lovers/victims couldn’t even provide him temporary bliss, it’s because (unknown to him) his sense of touch is extremely dulled while starved. Rat blood makes him functional but it barely allows him to feel any stimulation.
  • The blood of thinking creatures is akin to ambrosia. It’s not just the temporary satiation of his unending hunger, but being able to feel things again. The wind on his skin, the damp chill of a rainy night, the heat from the grymforge…even being able to sweat again. It’s all brand new to him.
  • His senses on thinking creature’s blood are not only restored but sharpened. More so after the tadpole is removed and his full spawn power is unlocked again.
  • Can smell your blood while it’s still in your veins; moving thru your body. Can sense an emotional (or sexual 🥴) response this way. His heightened hearing can easily tell when your heart rate quickens.
