I was tagged by @afterthenovel and for some reason tumblr won’t let me tag her. Shame on you, tumblr.
Where do you publish your work?
What medium/application/etc. do you write in or with?
Microsoft words on my computer, Evernote, sometimes the traditional notebook.
Do you collaborate with others?
I love working with artists because quite frankly, I’m better at writing something for someone else. Less excuses to procrastinate. I would love to do some fic exchange or something like that, but the sad truth is that a lot of times, these things don’t work out. But if you want to, always feel free to hit me up.
How much editing do you do before you publish?
Not as much as I should. Which means, if I don’t immediately find a beta, I just publish the thing without even reading through it a second time. I’m a disgrace. And I know it.
Do you listen to music?
I usually listen to one song or two songs on repeat when I’m in the mood. And it’s like when I’m driving a car which means that when I have to focus on something I have to turn down the music.
How do you decide what to write about?
Usually I see something that prompts me. The summary of a book, a movie, a quote, a picture, an actual prompt, and then I just twist and tweak it into something that works for me. When I write for someone else I usually take something I know the person likes or something I associate with them and try to come up with something around that.
When do you write?
In the late evenings or when I have time in the early afternoon.
How often do you write?
Oh my. Not often enough. I try to every couple days, but I end up not doing it more often than not. I’m having one of those times when I’m too busy or too tired to do anything when I come home from work.
Do you take requests? Why/why not?
I do, but I barely ever get them...
Is there any genre or type of story you want to write but are hesitant to?
I’m not hesitant to write it, but I’m definitely hesitant to publish poetry. And then I’ve always had the dream to turn something very popular into a fic because that’s the kind of story I enjoy the most, no matter if it’s a trope or a setting from another book or movie. Only that after the disaster that was the Snow Queen, I don’t really feel comfortable with it anymore.
Any inspirational quotes, videos, tricks, articles, etc. that help you stay motivated?
Music and reading through my own old stuff.

Believe it or not, I’m currently working on Shivers again:
It tears him apart and wears him down and sometimes he's catching himself thinking that he wouldn't even care about the other person so much if it meant that Kurt would stop shaking. It's a horrible thought. The thing about humans is that they are monsters too. Three weeks before prom, Kurt stops whining. He stops poking around in his food rather than eating it. He sings under the shower again. Kurt doesn't shiver.
I don’t really have too many people I know who write, so I leave this open for everyone who wants to do this. And I know that a lot of people write this and then people feel shy to do it, but I actually mean it. Do it if you feel like it and then tag me so I can read it ♥
