I do like the idea of this and would be an interesting parallel to Reapers, but I do have concerns over the aetherological implications of what I'm assuming is "absorbing massive amounts of light energy for a power up."
My concerns of course stem from what happens with "sin eaters," as they become a statue of their own flesh with their soul trapped inside. You are essentially, if i were to guess, forcing your body into a statue like state that may cause irreparable damage and or cause you to go full sin eater. Where it is difficult to discern where a voidsent's body ends and soul begins given their immortal state, it does allow them to slip in and out of essentially anything and anyone. The difference is sin eaters are more physical and cannot just inhabit another's body the same way as voidsent can given their unmalleable forms.
I would even go so far that Sin Eaters are more insect like than voidsent and quite literally can't be reasoned with in the same sense that voidsent can when they answer to higher powered versions of their own kind. Both do act in similar fashions but Sin Eaters I would argue act more like a hivemind where they answer to the will of their lightwarden. Where as voidsent do act in accordance to the will of the stronger voidsent, they still yet have a mind and will of their own regardless of how weak they are as they can be bartered with giving them aether. Just like animals. Sin eaters, regardless of strength, will attack and feed mindlessly with no chance of with them.
