Today’s Wagashi : Snow Flowers In Japan, snow is also called “Rikka” which means “Hexagonal Snow Flake”. Snowflake can be likened to tiny flowers through the beautiful and delicate forms that they take on. These are Japanese confectionaries mimicking such snowflake in a Japanese traditional wood box as a winter gift.
