You ARE allowed to ask if I have your request if you're concerned it hasn't come through as I no longer have a to-do list. But a reminder that if you know that I have it, PLEASE don't ask me if I'm still writing it etc etc, it stresses me out. I'll be replying to the request if I end up deciding I can't do it, I never delete requests without telling about it. You are also allowed to ask if I have anything for a specific character in my wips/how many wips I have for a specific character, if you're interested.

Also, a reminder: If you send in a request, it's not the next in line! Me not posting does NOT mean I don't have anything to post, it usually means I'm just busy or otherwise not being able to post new content.

Two things to remind requesters:

- First, if you ask the reader to have a physical attribute, like glasses, certain hairstyle, a specified body type etc, it has to be linked into the plot somehow for me to use it. If it doesn't have a relevance for the plot, I just ignore that part of the request and I don't make mentions of it. Most of my readers are a blank canvas in terms of their appearance. They often have mentions about having some kind of unspecified hairstyle on their head but other than that, you can imagine the reader to look whatever you want, I don't make the reader a skinny white skinned long haired girl by default, I know a lot of writers do that but I don't. I came across so many fics with long haired reader back when I still had my pixie hair and yeah, it threw me off to read how I tied my hair up etc, so I don't make mentions like that.

If you want me to write something where the reader has a large red birthmark that spreads across their collarbone to their jaw and they're insecure of it and character comforts them about it, then sure, shoot. But if you want me to write a fic where character makes a birthday surprise for reader and you want me to include reader having glasses, then that has nothing to do with the scenario and I will ignore that part of the request. You can imagine the reader having glasses yourself because I'm not writing anything that suggests reader not having glasses either.

- Second thing, this has been bubbling up a lot lately through asks and IM's: if I don't post anything for some time, it does NOT mean I have nothing to post. If you request, your request is NOT the only one in my drafts and won't be the next in line.

Every time I publish something new, I get at least one message or ask, some polite and some less polite, about if I got their request because they expected it to be the next in line to come out because I hadn't posted for a while and they assumed it's because my inbox is empty.

You ARE allowed to ask once if you're not sure if your request came through because of Tumblr's bugging, but if you're sending that ask because you thought your request is the next in line and that's why you think I don't have it because I posted someone's else's request instead of yours, then no. That's not the case. My life is just a lot different from what it was 3 years ago or even a year ago and unfortunately that means less updates and requests taking longer to come out.

And just in case someone is wondering, next request I'm posting is a Pin Hawthorne oneshot with clumsy kiss prompt.

A bonus info: I will make a mini to-publish list post that only include requests that will come out next, instead of my whole to-do list as a to-do list is too difficult to manage on mobile.

I saw it like 5 minutes after it was published haha 😂 It does look amazing, super excited!

Though kinda sad because it's likely going to take a long time before it's published to the public. Short films like that are usually first shown at film festivals and sometime after that they're published.

Freddy's short film (Broken Gargoyles) has been shown around different film festivals since April last year and still hasn't finished with it. And Recursive Dreams hasn't announced when will they be starting their film festival "tour" and the film doesn't seem to be finished with post-production yet, so it's likely it's going to take years for it to come out.

Glad to hear that ❤️ I hope it reaches the requester and they're ok with it because I'd love to try my hand on writing a Jin piece! I got some requests for him when the game first came out, but they all were from the same anon and they all broke my no smut rule so I had to delete them. Such a shame because I was excited to see the "can you write a Jin Sakai x reader? One where..." on the mobile preview thing.

The person with that request requested in June last year and never replied to my first post, I did reblog it a few times to try and reach the requester, but never heard back from them 😕 I do hope they will see it eventually though, if they're around...

I made this post once last summer but as it has now disappeared, I need to post it again.

How about this: she'd be like him, "Ghost"-like, but is more brutal and goes absolutely crazy when clearing camps (maybe because Mongols slaughtered her family or something and it's just, blind rage when she sees a Mongol and she gives no mercy to them?), and people see her as a monster rather than a hero, even though she tries to help Tsushima too? And that causes her feeling insecure of her feelings for Jin.

Also can I tone down her liking for him from "obsession" because to me that grazes yandere? (Which I don't do) She could just really really like him. In my opinion an actual obsession includes stalking, manipulating, extreme jealousy etc, so, I'm not comfortable with it.

Sorry if these changes would be too much, I've never written dark!reader fics that are meant to be dark like that from the start and don't really understand how exactly they work yet and when reading, I always skip them because I've never seen a fic where reader/character isn't someone who manipulates their s/o somehow and it's gotten into a point where I don't give a chance on reading any of them anymore.

If you won't reply, I'm ultimately deleting this request from my drafts, meaning I'm not writing my alternate idea as it's taking heavy inspiration from your request and I don't feel comfortable writing it without your blessing, and your request has some elements I'm not comfortable with so I can't write it either 😕

No worries, you were polite and didn't come out as impatient at all! By my last paragraph I meant that it's the most common reason why people send me these asks because they think I only have a few requests and when their request isn't coming out as fast as it would with other writers, they start to wonder if I have it, which is entirely understandable. Especially when I used to write/publish my requests pretty soon after they were sent and I often had days where I wrote 5 fics in just a few hours. And also my pinned post does say you're allowed to ask if your request came through once as I no longer have a to-do list.

The thing that will annoy me is if you start to ask me "is it still coming, are you still doing it" every once in a while. If you know I have it, then don't ask after it unless you want me to delete it from my drafts to be able to request it from someone else.

But I believe you won't start doing that 😊

If you mean this one and sent this because you wonder why it hasn't come out yet, then yeah, I'm just slow 😅 I don't do scheduled/queued fics anymore so... I can't give you any estimated schedule unfortunately. I publish my fics right when they're ready to publish.

About BatBP schedules for those interested (and an explanation why I've been so absent/slow to publish new stuff):

I've tried to decide what is the best option for a while now. I want BatBP/Bastard and the Blood Princess readers to know when will the next chapter be published as it has gotten an influx of readers and it no longer is a "whatever, no one cares" situation, so I've decided to publish three requests before each BatBP chapter. I've posted only BatBP since last August, minus the Gideon piece in January and Peeta yesterday, so I think it's time to start doing my requests again properly. This means I have 2 oneshots to post before the next BatBP chapter, as The Favourite (Gideon) was posted about two weeks before Chapter 8 of BatBP (can't check because AO3 is under maintentance).

Also a reminder that from that pile of fics I posted here a month ago were posted on AO3 last year, so they weren't "new" and I don't write new stuff fast enough to be able to post daily, or usually even weekly. I recently came back to cross-post here, which is why I posted all that.

Well, I have some unexpected stuff in my life going on currently which is why I still haven't written anything new after coming back in here (or returning to crosspost here). May try to write something soon to cope though.

But overall I'm fine enough. I met some new friends + some pretty awesome people two weeks ago, I don't know if you've checked my IG lately buuuuut 😏 Heh. (And next year I'll do it all over again, that time first live meeting with a long time friend I first met here in Tumblr, she was also a reader insert writer at that time, and getting to hang out with her + those new friends for the weekend!!! 😍)
