yeah! We plan on updating SSP, there’s just been a lot of stuff going on, haha. I write for Wade, but my partner that used to write for Peter kind of fell out of the fandom, which is totally normal and it happens. But, good news! My girlfriend, Meeps is taking their place as co-author [with permission, of course]! c: And She has been the Peter to my Wade in Tonightless, Migraine, and Running With Lions! c: Which if you haven’t read those, you definitely should!! :DD [you can find them in the story tabs on the blog, or ao3! :DD ] And that being said, we’ve just been busy, yo. I just moved to California to be with my girlfriends and i’ve been trying to find a job, and have been on a hugeeee Winter Soldier/Deadpool kick lately c: We have something in the works for that too ;3

but tl;dr yes SSP will be updated, just not sure when uwu

Hi!  This is Meeps editing this part.  ^^;  Because I’ve been silent on the issue.

I have to read the entire fic in order to pick up where it was left off, and that’s a huge blockade in my way right now.  There’s a lot of pressure that I feel on my shoulders to continue a story that so many people love and I don’t wanna let anyone down.  I’m juggling a lot of stuff irl, including trying to sort out my mental health care and get physical stuff looked into as well.  We were, and are, currently struggling through really tough times and it’s just a huge stressful mess.  A chunk of the next chapter for SSP is written, though.  It’s just really slow-going, you know?

I’ve finally started writing on my own for the first time since 2015 and I’m trying to ride this wave as far as it’ll take me.  I’ve never finished a fic that wasn’t a one-shot before.

tl;dr I suck at juggling fics and writing in general, I’m sorry.  Thank you so much to everyone who’s stuck with us.

It’s been a lot of irl stuff and mental blocks lately, let alone depression and the like. We WANT to finish the story, but it’s really just getting over that hump. I even have the next chapter planned out c:

It just hasn’t been updated! A lot of things have been going on behind the scenes and life has been a bit hectic and stressful for the actual writers, along with my old writing partner stepping down and one of my girlfriends taking their place.
