Mod Network Server

Whether you’re a veteran mod or just starting out, we could all use a little support. Here at the Mod Network, we aim to make modding more productive for everyone and bring fandoms closer together!

The Mod Network is a place to share resources, advice, and information about moderating various projects both for original and fandom content.

Click here to join the Mod Network Server!

We also have a section for verified mods who have more experience in mod roles to share ideas and communicate with other mods in a smaller, more conducive environment. The verification process for this section will be very similar to our original server application process, and you can find out more info upon joining the server!

Remember to reblog and share this with any of your friends who might be interested! We will also be reblogging mod opportunities and resources to this blog, so be sure to follow as well.

Your promo post says all mods could use help whether they're veterans or newbies, but you won't accept mods who haven't passed the acceptance phase of at least one project. I would strongly argue that the planning phase is when a significant amount of advice is needed for newer mods, yet they're excluded from this network at that point. Can you please explain why?

A few reasons, it is not because we do not want to help those starting out, but because we want to accept people who are serious about being a mod.

Knowing you’ve accepted contributors means that you have a plan and are working hard at your project. It shows us you mean business. A lot of events fall apart in the planning stages as people realize the amount of work that goes into doing one. By the time contributors have been accepted, we know that you’re taking on that responsibility.

Your point is valid, and we appreciate where you’re coming from, however, this decision was made after extensive discussion when planning this network.

When should we expect to hear back to know if we’re allowed to join?

We tend to get back to applicants within a day or two. It depends on when the mods can all put their vote in! However, one of our mods is having a birthday and with the holiday, it might be a little slower.

Yes, we are accepting minors. There is a section for for nsfw projects, but that is strictly for adult mods only!

Whether you’re a veteran mod or just starting out, we could all use a little support. Here at the Mod Network, we aim to make modding more productive for everyone and bring fandoms closer together!

The Mod Network is a place to share resources, advice, and information about moderating various projects both for original and fandom content.

The basic criteria we will be looking for in members is:

  • Must have at least 1 project that is ongoing publicly/collaboratively (i.e. not in infancy, must have accepted collaborators currently working on it in some form) or has been successfully completed
  • Must be and continue to be in good standing (i.e. no involvement with scams, no abandoning an in-progress project without notice, etc.)
  • Must NOT actively attack/harass anyone for their personal choices
  • Must NOT demonstrate any current or prior discrimination or harassment towards people upon the factor of race, gender, sexuality, or religion.

Please remember that we are not obligated to accept you as a member if we have reason to believe you do not follow our guidelines.
